they will work fine. if you are doing the swap make sure you seal them front to back. that will help with the sound somewhat.

yes there is. the round clarion item runs the 4 speakers. it has a bit of grunt and that also tells me that you have the clarion tape radio with the external 6cd in there. if you wnat to keep it looking stock I sell Ipod patches for those decks.

DLS, ARC , Dynaudio thats a start.. depth of pockets is a good indicator as well.

yep you have the glass style that I bought. the early one is steel and rusts. I would still tear it down and clean the crap out of the rails. that part of the reason they fail.

what condition is the roof in? I bought the LAST glass in existance, the motors are still available though. since you have the car down pull that roof , strip it and clean it out. doing that made a world of difference to mine. motor part # is: 91295-01U14. its a $500 bit as used in a S15.

the old version had auto subscribe. I have the boxes ticked on the threads I post to but I do not get email notified on them. is there a switch I am missing somewhere? the PM system works fine. I get those.

the remotes on those are prone to dying. they are available new from nissan but require programming. that is the easier option as those cars had remote alarms on them as standard and adding another remote unit over the top of the existing will cause hassles. does it have the eurovox radio (long display that runs across the radio) or the clarion one (display on left side) the eurovox is crap. given the age of the car I would replace all of the speakers as they would be dry rotted by now. 6'5" front and rear. they had a lock out on them the only way to open it was with the key. if that IS the case look at where the catch is on the car. you will see a tab that pokes out at 90 deg - pull that UP and check the electric release.

nah. all of it is external to the cluster. I am considering mimicing the odo reset button as a mode switch for the navi input. currently its on one of the radio buttons on top of the dash. there is a custom module for that.

subaru sold. amazing how people try to screw you down. was offered $275 for it... final amount was $1550. so that pays for the HR31. I dare say it will stay a local car as the company that bought it had NO idea what they bought. the salesperson had half an idea after I took him for a strap in it and got in on the second turbo.. now have moneyz for HR31 tidyup and rego. whats 6cyl rego worth btw for 6 months?

depends on version. the one floating around on the net seems to cover from 1987-2001. mine on the other hand covers everything up to oct 11 but not anything earlier than 1991. i have borh versions. the new version i can force my r32 into but not my hr31. both cars show up in the earlier version with just the chassis number. does that answer your question?

they are usullay sitting on herston rd or campbell st. both are blind to the driver but clean shots for cops. i got used to it and knew here to look. still sucks though.

had a bit of spare time today so I started on the Nismo 32 dash (v2) V1 that I paid money for the start of V2. that is a 3mm piece of acrylic cut into the stock hole. keep watching. quick hit with a dremel to get the basic shape. the hole was marked with the steel overlay that was on the LCD panel I am using. there is a small amount of error there so its not visible in the final version. back shot now with qbond holding it in place. it doesn't move. I actually broke it in the top corner (speedo side) so there is qbond on that at well. back shot. just add bog. this is actually a finishing bog so its fine and quite easy to sand off. first sand - this is hit with 400 wet/dry. light is horrible but it doesnt look that bad. Once this is highfilled , 45 deg chamfer on the gauge holes ( they are stepped at the moment.)and painted black it will look like it belongs there. I called it a day at that point. will do some more on it when I get more time.

check inside the car under the carpet on the sills in the front. that $2k car may blow out to $20k if you are not careful
