yeh its crazy you can park the thing in a car park with $100k + cars and they will steal the $15k clapped out GTR every time! unless theres an Evo or STI close by.
so one of them, im not sure which links the knock sensors and IVAC valve to the the ECU.
if the ecu does not have a knock sensor input it will run super rich, so yes you need them connected...
whats you goal? what do you want to use the car for?
33 is the better car due to it being newer, more powerful, stronger gearbox and bigger brakes.
that said i'd take a 32 any day, although my last one ended up with an rb25 conversion...
thats sensor is about $78 from nissan but i dont have the part number handy.
if you unplug it the ECU will assume a standard 80c operating temp, maybe this helps...
i got done the other day for some stupid shit too the cop said i would get a letter in the mail..
how long does this normally take its been about 2 weeks so far.
you need to hook it up to a consult unit so you can see what the temp really is...
also flushing a radiator with a hose won't do shit, it can be %80 blocked and it will still look like its flowing through fine but its not!
the temp sensors are located on the plenum where the top rad hose connects.
the single wire sensor is the for the dash and the 2 wire sensor is for the ecu...
you got two options replace the single wire sensor and see if it makes a difference or hook up a consult unit so you can get a reading from the more accurate 2 wire sensor.....
