  1. Its an ex-HRT trick that was only discovered by the other teams after Craig Lowndes put the car on its roof for all to see what they had designed. see pic
  2. i never rule anything out.
  3. Ive actually put it away for a few months...its not quite sorted and my race licence and log book expired yesterday. We are working on setting the car up so it launches consistently...it either bogs down of the line or blows the tyres off the thing. When it hooks up im using most of the lane to keep it off the walls so the suspension is not where it should be. I kid you not this thing will run 8's or at the least very low 9's when its right...im in no doubt of that. The engine is producing over 1000hp on only 29psi of boost!
  4. http://www.badgerphotography.com.au/2009/F...s/270309284.htm hehe
  5. bass-o-matic...the original No-tec.
  6. Ford Courier a few Hi-ace vans and a smattering of falcon and commodore wagons. its pretty hardcore eh.
  7. id want him to be 1st....last means he has a possible chance of running up everyones arse!....at least if he's first you can keep an eye on him. amateur class...very fitting for BM though.
  8. is it just me...or does something not quite look right in the above photo?
  9. A lot of the Vic. circuit guys have done the mod i suggested...PM JAGR33 as i know he is one guy who has done this.
  10. looks like the reminants of a turbine gone bye bye.

  13. Scott is tuning the car eh...good stuff. When were you there? I was in there Friday...did you see the Rotorbishi?
  14. Your partner is a man...are you? It is Martin Donovan...lol
  15. Its Martin Donnon...not Martin Donovan...silly 10sec's...pffft!
  16. I read that this afternoon in dis-belief....has fatz grown up...surely not.
  17. we dont recommend products unless completely necessary. For around the same price as SARD 700cc injectors we got the rail, injectors and reg for. The injectors we now use are 750cc Siemens items and have 14mm tops and will not fit the STD rail...they wont even fit a Jap aftermarket rail. His Nismo FPR he already had fitted will not bolt to the Hypertune billet fuel rail so the Turbosmart reg was fitted. So yes the FPR and fuel rail were both required. He can now sell his almost new Nismo FPR and be well in front...any one interested in purchasing this can PM Bakes. He also has a set of R34 GTR turbo's and STD injectors in excellent condition that he is looking to offload. He has a Nismo fuel pump already installed.
  18. ill build anything...as long as the money's right. I actually like the RB30's...they fetch good cash at Simsmetal for scrap.
  19. Nice snip Doof...you should be a journalist...never let the actual truth, facts and complete statements cloud what could be a very juicy tale. Well done son. You can flog off in my hotel room anytime.
  20. I nowhere suggested the Vi-PEC install was the only thing that has got the car over the line. My first comment was it was a good showing for the product on its first outing and finally the naysayers...you included...may see that this product 'maybe' a good alternative to MoTeC. Just a quick one the M800 has only half the data aquisition capabilities of the Vi-PEC V88 out of the box...you really need to only have a quick comparison of both these ecu's spec sheets to see the Vi-PEC is an outstanding proposition. Most of the MoTeC's features are an expensive add-on that the V88 comes standard with. Neil then barked up a tree he knew nothing about and i simply put him straight. The most significant difference in the car would be no more BEL and lots of Insight. Scott built the new engine and changed the ecu which had a marked effect on the power output and overall engine performance. You guys really need to have a good read of what is actually written...instead of thinking you know whats going on and drawing conclusions that dont exist. time will see that the product you so like to bag out, only for some reason because i think its a good thing, is actually top shelf material. If i suggested the Brawn F1 team was running a V88 on the weekend that may be something for you to have a slash at...lol. Be cool...be nice. Please
  21. it is not fully dyno'd yet...just a bit of road tuning performed on Sunday. Car is running well but full tune will tell the real story.
  22. i have a set of r34 turbo's in mint condition if required...it sounds like a turbo has gone bye-bye.
  23. another happy unigroup customer...Yavus should strt paying me commission...lol
  24. You sound like you are trying to convince yourself...lol Scotty has been involved with the development of my car and over the last month ive spent almost every weekend at his workshop. He has been over the EVO with me going through what has been changed/modified and what has not. The biggest change being the engine and ecu package...its now making a bucketload of power, more power earlier and better throttle response. Scott has been removing the MoTeC's out of a few cars now as the Vi-PEC in his opinion is a superior product. If you want to buy one Neil (MoTeC) he has a few 2nd hand units available. I don't think i know what im on about...i know what im on about. you should settle down tiger. Russ...its an Insight Motorsports car now...nothing to do with BELgarage.
