  1. But your not Maatouk's, Birrong Automotive, JW Auto etc running 8's with them Dan what problems will around 135psi at low RPM produce?
  2. thats correct...the pump is a different gear design and is not prone to the Jap pump problems. Pull one apart and you will see what i mean. crack off pressure is the point at which the relief valve opens.
  3. this is not entirely correct...we have back to back tested heads and actually found the opposite depending on the set-up.
  4. be careful...ive been away from the mrs for 4 weeks. 2nd best offer ive had since ive been here...lol on topic...whats a blue card?
  5. the crack off pressure of a JUN pump is 120psi should have used a STD RB30 oil pump...they rarely break or give problems.
  6. thanks guys...im still looking subzero you have PM
  7. Been to The Roxy and the Albion stacks of times...never any trouble encountered. Mind you im over 6 foot and 100kg.
  8. Congrats Bakes...well deserved trophy...top stuff mate.
  9. Looking for somewhere to live up here for the next two months. Must be modern, clean etc. please PM
  10. Brad, Paul Ruzic tells me your controller has been sent...keep your eyes peeled for it as it should be there by now...if not today. I get him to send them direct to save double handling and as yours was an extra one that had to be assembled it took a little longer than usual. PM's cleared.
  11. Hey guys apoligies for the situation. I have logged in a couple of times but due to Stacey logging in at home failed to realise due to no new message notification that my PM's were full. Performance Wise did the clever thing and e-mailed me using the e-mail in my sig which recieved a quick response. All sorted...the coil packs will be returned to you when i get back. I was unable to test them for you in the limited time i had them as i didn't have a suitable test car on the dyno in that period. Jinman, i sourced some O2 sensors for you up here and sent them...you should already have them now. cheers and my regrets to have caused unnecessary stress...i was called up here at very short notice and have been working up to 22hrs a day on occasions...yes 2 hrs sleep!
  12. Charlie, the car in Roy's pick appears to be shod with radials and wears BFGoodrich sponsorship.
  13. my 72000klm was 170 across the board...id say your engine is like mine when it was stock...a well cared for engine running standard boost.
  14. cool time HKS... wow thats certainly a car that the Japs, kiwi's, pommies and aussies were unaware of and took a bit of digging to find. The Eyre time was widely regarded as the benchmark so it was that time we targeted. Even CRD's contacts in Japan including well known drag pilot who helped prep my car for the time Tomatsu Miyamae believed a 9 would be the worlds fastest. We actually researched it...we didn't just pull it from our arse and this car wasn't known of so we could only go off information that was available to us at the time. i was going to put the lowies back on to beat the Hi-Octane time with a lighter better set-up car with the dog-box and NOS but now i don't think ill bother. I wont get near that time with the single high mount let alone de-powering it with the RS's Ash my claim to fame is being married to Australia's Fastest and Quickest Female Sport compact drag racer ( a record that was set in 2004 and still stands today) and starring in the Jackie Chan film 'Mr Nice Guy'. No poo there. Do Russ and Mark have poo on there face because they are claiming it too?...does Arthur Eyre in NZ have it as well? i guess they do as you are the all knowing all seeing expert on all things. For Mark and i to run the times we have in cars that are basicly modified circuit and street cars respectively is still outstanding in anyones books except maybe yours. Please list your achievements.... Who knows the HKS car probably high mounted the turbo's anyway....lol
  15. yeah he bought the ones from me...he offered more $$ for one than you did for the whole lot!
  16. yes please. DiRTgarage is the correct mix of capitals and lower case.
  17. Busy thursday night installing another Vi-PEC in a drag car. Bugger
  18. im in brisbane for a few weeks working so if anythings doing let me know
  19. both vids are of the old set-up Shane
  20. Why do you think i was in such a rush at pizza the other night...i was busy wiring up the beast above and was only finished on Saturday. If you have seen or heard it missfiring and poping its head off during a run you would know why the AEM, DIS-4 and STD coils running wasted spark has been ditched. listen... and here The ViPEC runs the car much better and the dyno results on Saturday were outstanding. Due to a driveline issue a launch/shutdown was only done Saturday night resulting in a nice 1.07 60' time. Id like to thank Gonzo and Mark Jacobsen for involving me in such an awesome project.
  21. V88 on the antilag...mmm 1 x V88 and 2 x M&W Drag 6 CDI's
