you can guess or make asumptions...here are some things that "are" known...the workshop in question has built almost all of australia's highest powered GTR's up until a few years ago...they own a 2 metre long torque wrench to do all their balancers up. This was the 1st time they have used a Ross balancer, they use the correct process to install them, they have never had a problem in the past and have never had an issue since, the crankshaft was a brand new full counterweight item. This was the older style Ross item which was little more than a glorified pulley for the belts. I understand that Ross since then have changed their design.
