  1. if you are using a Vi-PEC you can program it to turn on the other pump at higher rpm or boost.

  3. due to the fact we had a oil pressure cut off, when the N1 oil pump failed the engine was fine...we could have simply replaced the oil pump and gone again. I recommend Nitto pumps and id go along with Brads statement that they are as good as Tomei if not better.

  7. use a hose clamp to attach Bosch pump to original plastic clip and clip it into bucket as per the stock pump.

  12. If this can be confirmed id be in for another crack....the car set-up alone would be far more superior now with 'proper' drag suspension and the dogbox. Its still a heavy car so a bit of weight out of it with all the other additions should see the Berry time fall. Holding the car in 3rd gear from just over 1/2 track to finish to keep the car from exceeding 140MPH is also not required now as we are fabricating a parachute set-up while the car is up here in QLD.

  14. RJ chassis eh...nice work. Ive just put a Vi-PEC V88 and a twin M&W Drag 6 CDI system into an RJ car here in Aust. Toyota though so its a bit slow...lol. Ive been involved in discussions with a big race team here in Australia about running a R35 GTR RJ chassis 'PRO FX' car here...3.8 litre V6 twin T51 powered monster running a lenco. Custom engine block running Nissan heads etc. They were meeting with Nissan Australia in Melbourne this week to nut out a sponsorship deal. These guys are behind a well known team and if anyone has the budget and experience to pull this off and get it happening its them. Stay tuned When is the Z debuting John?   16. you can guess or make asumptions...here are some things that "are" known...the workshop in question has built almost all of australia's highest powered GTR's up until a few years ago...they own a 2 metre long torque wrench to do all their balancers up. This was the 1st time they have used a Ross balancer, they use the correct process to install them, they have never had a problem in the past and have never had an issue since, the crankshaft was a brand new full counterweight item. This was the older style Ross item which was little more than a glorified pulley for the belts. I understand that Ross since then have changed their design.
  17. thrown balancer and stuffed 7K crankshaft...now runs ATI and has been faultless...over 1150AWHP

  24. Red dot...just be careful of the rod clearance. Riken rings are what im using on my JUN (cosworth) pistons in the current engine.
