  1. its just the plugs...if you look closely at the 1st and 3rd injector in the 2nd pic you can see they are stock yellow GTR items.
  2. it possibly sounds like another engine with the rings put on upside down as a 5000klm old engine should not still be using oil at that rate for the next 5000klm. how often did you check the oil level?.
  3. This facility is owned by the state government, its catch-cry when Morris Iemma opened it was to get young people off the streets and a place to run their cars as well as a track to run big events like the international top fuel stuff. The wsid management after this 'incident' decided to lock out a lot of racers from private hires who had quick cars. They then tell us you can race at ANDRA test days for 3 times the fee charged for a private hire. This put the sheer cost of running our cars out of some peoples budgets and put racers back on the streets. Yes private hires are not for people like myself and my Stacey who the most fun we ever had racing the car was at an SAU run day racing with our friends. 11.00 is silly as they say that the track is only prepped to street meet standard (that was their excuse for imposing the 11.00 rule) and is unsafe for cars quicker than 11.00. But i can run a 7 second car on a wednesday night with no issues. Work that out. I think a change to 10.00 would be more appropriate as there is a huge list of cars in the 11.00-10.00 bracket. Guys with 11.00 cars or slower, these days are great fun...enter, run your car all day and have a great time. All im saying is id like to be there to run with you.
  4. yes currently one of the best 'bang for your buck' options out there. but talk to your tuner and ask what he is confident tuning.
  5. can be run on any ecu but all the sensors need to be wired in. The vi-pec just has a single plug interface similar to the Power FC controller.
  6. of course it is...they max out at 350awkw though.
  7. Yes i run one of these in the drag car and the ability to plug it straght into the Vi-PEC and not only read but program the alarm levels as well as the shift lights is a great feature. Ive never used shift lights in my racecar before and now can keep off the limiter and save a few 10th's down the strip. We have added a few tricky sensors to monitor some things you wouldn't even think of....its the fruit. Due to the fact the Vi-PEC has 4MB of on board logging, the Ruzic RaceLogger is not required when running the Vi-PEC. I only run the car for 20secs each time i switch the logger on for a race anyway...so 4MB is plenty.
  8. Yeah 3030 is a bit of a giggle. Joe Signorelli is 2929...does that make me 1 better than him? I wish i had a 3030 so i could crack off a few shells. Here's a pic of my old racecar before the 'twoogle' days
  9. You should have been rude enough to ask him. next friday night...see http://www.wsid.com.au/includes/Wicked/entrylist.pdf no chute...i got away with not being logged on both my 140+ runs.
  10. try a new tps mate.
  11. slice of urine in a R32 GTR...15mins tops. If put in right (in the bucket with the proper mount and clip) it wont surge as the bucket is filled by the reg. return line.
  12. if its a 300kw car an 040 would be better as all the 044 will do is cycle more fuel through the rail, unnecessarily heating the fuel and robbing the engine of horsepower.
  13. Bosch pumps are far superior to walbro. Guilt-tripper told you Bosch, you trust him with your tune...so trust his advice on fuel pumps too. The Bosch item is about $40 more...people who skimp on products are always the ones who scream the loudest when it goes 'pop'. Its your fuel system...its keeping your engine alive...stick your hand in your pocket and put in a decent pump. BTW...my 1000hp GTR uses an 040 as a lift pump.
  14. They were fun...until we rocked up with a couple of sub 10sec cars, a few drops of rain, they (WSID staff) called it off, tried to stooge us of our cash and then changed the rules so sub 11 cars were banned. KUNTS!
  15. Spotted Black R34 front Stagea at Lillford exhaust...Graham pointed him my way when he produced some stainless manifolds. He's keen to get some of the Red R treatment done to it. Twin high mount 2835's and a RB26 mmmmm
  16. you obviously have no idea what Mark is up to...why do you think his car wasnt at Compak. and rails dont count.
  17. accessory kit dimensions are around 120 x 80 x 15
  18. it has been said the wastegate plumbed back helps scavenge gas from the turbine. In theory it sounds right but back to back testing is the only way to be sure. I have another HKS wastegate flange...i might knock up a screamer and do a mythbuster's on it.
  19. i see your 7 sec pass...and raise you a Godzilla Motorsport 7.84 @ 184 RB26 > RB30
  20. im 1460KG...Robbie's much lighter than me....he looks about 120kg.
  21. not a new engine...just freshened. it didn't run as quick but it did run faster. yes it sounds good but due to a plumbed back wastegate its not a 'off tap' as it could be.
  22. you snooze you loose! RB26 cuts a 0.05 light...RB30 cuts a 1.02 light...race is won at the tree. RB26 wins by an 8th of a mile. NOTE: the RB26 was street driven to the race meeting.
  23. Unfortunately Ruzic engineering has decided to cease production of it 4WD controller. They have 5 of these items left and are liquidating the left over stock. Please pm if interested. $450 delivered
