  1. its a double does of pain killers 1 is panadine forte the other one is codine based...im off em now...i can actually now stay awake all day.
  2. the parachute rule is a wank and dates back to when cars had drum front brakes...id like to run without one to be honest...and ill put one on only when they make me.
  3. if i run it over 140MPH ill lose my 'get out of gaol free' card and ill have to rock up next time with the parachute. Ill save it for Compak...even though Mark said he would send his chute down for me to use. He's confident if i can keep it in the groove a very low 9 is possible. Two runs below 9.1 will get me the National record and a 9.44 will have me jump up to 4th in the HPI drag records list.
  4. took it for a couple of drives around the 'test track' over the weekend....its a totally different car at the same power level as the low-mounts. Its going to be a very quick car down the 1/4 as im sure it would run faster even now...im sure i could have it in the 9.60-9.70 bracket without too much trouble. Another 200KW is going to have me very busy behind the wheel keeping it in the lane and off the walls. I was actually a bit short of a word after a very spirited session on Saturday afternoon...which is very out of character.

  9. its generally 20-30 more ft/lbs when using 30W oil for that size stud...so 109ft/lbs sounds like the right torque for 30W oil.

  12. did they not have one in stock? i wouldn't have dropped my car off unless they were ready to go. Its a 1 day max job. 4hrs actually...thats what it took to fully map my 800hp drag car.

  15. $1760 for an ECU which is in my opinion one of the best available and is over $200 cheaper than a GTS-t Apexi Power FC which is quite a basic ecu compared to the Vi-PEC. $750 for tuning seems the going rate really...quality costs money
  16. 1/2 inch drive angle gauge...its got a 1/2 inch socket on the top for your breaker bar to clip in to and a 1/2 inch drive to go into the hex socket you will need to fit the head bolts. its got a round dial on it with angle graduations marked on it. ill try and dig up a picture. edit...here ya go. http://www.ntxtools.com/Merchant/graphics/...01/otc-4554.gif
