  1. kit comes with everything needed for install. pricing unavailable yet.
  2. thats some funny sh1t right there. thanks to all who have called/pm'd/written in thread...cheers.
  3. i want to hear mine on cycle idle.
  4. ive just installed one in our racecar...ill take some shots and post them up. This item is so slick and with a blue backlit and white LCD screen looks the goods too. The software even has its own dedicated Vi-PEC section written in it...nice. Ive been made a dealer for this product as ive had quite a bit of input making it all happen as far as the Vi-PEC interface is concerned. They will be available for purchase for Vi-PEC owners very soon.
  5. The new Ruzic Engineering Engine Monitor is a straight plug-in dash display for the Vi-PEC. Its plugs into the CAN port and instantly displays 9 engine parameters pre-programmed as well as many more user defineable options. Comes with shift and warning lights as well as an audible buzzer. Will post some pics and details as soon as im able. This is your knock display The Rogue.
  6. we did my whole engine for $19000AUD...all JUN stuff...it ran 9's on its first outing...the same engine freshened up will go close to 8's on its next outing with new turbo set-up and proper gearbox. This is in a 1460kg GTR on street rubber. Im not one of these internet mechanics who say things without the experience to back it up. Not at all having a go at you...If you can get people to part with $19000NZD for a bottom end all the best of luck to you Rob. Well Done.
  7. She runs around with it making external gate noises...rrraaahhhttt.
  8. I woke up on Monday morning quite normal...had coffee...went to put mug in kitchen...stood up and bang...felt like someone had grabbed my nuts and rung them out like a wet towel. Still very difficult to walk and sit up...so its laying down taking 4 kinds of medication that makes me sleep for hours.
  9. Hey guys...back at home...a little sore and tender. Twisted testicle aint much fun...one of the most painful things a fella can experience. Its like being kicked in the nuts every few minutes.
  10. The bottom ends are $19000NZD...thats just the bottom end!!!
  11. awesome work...good luck with it...another Silver Monster will be lurking out at WSID. glad i did the upgrade now with all these tough cars coming out of the woodwork. the tune looks to be still fairly fat...but at that boost on pump it needs to be...and why didn't they run it in shoot-out mode?
  12. Top stuff Dave....now go to bed!!
  13. He still plays with carby's and pushrod engines...i think i don't need to say anymore.
  14. the GT-RS graph is in 3rd gear so no direct comparson available which is a little disapointing. When i get the 4WD sorted ill take it up for a 3rd gear 4wd run as im just as interested as you Steve-o. The 3rd gear run in rwd just fry's the tyres. ashamed of high-flow lag...never. Im totally aware of what im doing and know exactly whats needed. Yes ill have knocked a large hole in my torque curve...but that was expected. Peak torque at 7000rpm is whats needed to run the numbers at the strip not 4500rpm like before. Wayne is going to rescale the graph for me...as soon as he calls me ill go and pick it up.
  15. done.
  16. No cash as yet from SRB so his two are back on the market. 6 days to go.
  17. right...these are being finalised today...a couple of pricing options too. Will post up all the info soon.
  18. Luke came 5th...1st in class and 3rd fastest lap of the race.
  19. Yes its a H pattern. The box is so slick to change and not a hassle at all on the street once you work out the way it likes to be shifted. On the upshift you would be hard pressed to even know it was a dogbox and on the downshift a simple increase of about 500rpm double shuffling allows it to select the lower gear without the clunk.
  20. No i will not always run the Japanese air filter...getting a pipe made up this week to suit 2 large K&N items. Yeah its a nice result but its not a real indication of what it will do...the dyno printout is pretty useless as the line disappears off the page ill get Wanye to rescale it tomorrow. The AFR's read by the dyno on the 465 run were closer to 11 than 11.4...yikes! But this was may have been due to the plug change as it was spot on 11.4's the night before. I do have a super dooper gearbox...its a PPG fully optioned straight cut dogbox. The car shouldn't see much less than 7000rpm down the strip if im on my game. Took it for a run on my 'test track' today...its nuts already!
  21. ive just put a gold star in your workbook.
  22. $1760 for the Vi-PEC pnp and $2250 for the V88. Like Kiwi said...what country are you in? with an exchange rate like that you must be from Zimbabwe.
  23. couple of reasons...crank twist and belt deflection. Mark says its the way to go on a WOT high rpm drag car...im just doing as im told by the master. Its no fluke he's the 3rd fastest in the world, his car is ultra consistent and reliable. The custom set-up does not use a tooth style trigger wheel mounted on the nose of the crank...its nice and stealthy. Im sure Shane knows the set-up im refering to.
  24. we use the Nissan CAS for pump fuel...have another set-up for race fuel when we 'wick it up'.
  25. i remember when Mark was tuning the Autronic ECU with the GT-RS's the difference between 22 and 25psi was mad...one made good power, the other made the car almost jump off the dyno. They really woke up and it was only 3 measly psi difference. AFR power and torque only.
