Run a HT (conventional coil lead) lead between the coil pack and spark plug and clip the timing light on that.

STD GTR manifolds are a great piece of kit...well designed and keep the heat in the gas path, hence increase gas velocity and flow. A thin walled stainless manifold allows the heat to escape and looses this advantage of super-heated high velocity hit on the turbines. Its well proven with back to back testing that stainless manifolds do SFA when using low-mounts. A set of prepped stockers will outperform them everytime...in both performance, durability and cost.

manifolds net zero gain...a waste of $$...i charge $880 so the quotes seem good.

they have small rubber insulators that seal the injectors to the head...its quite common to not seat them correctly allowing a small amount of air to enter the system which is making the idle hunt.

your engine didnt eat turbo bits did it?...probably only a simple air leak though...are the injectors sealed where they seat on the head flange?
