  1. yes it has been done...ive seen it and been in a car with it...amazing results.
  2. 160mm Trust twin entry core on mine...cannot run bar reo though as the passenger side arm does not fit as end tanks are in the way.
  3. Sump is at fabricators for enlargement. He has yet to quote for the cost of it so until he does and Simon gives the nod it wont be finished. If i get a call today it should be in his possesion within a week. Sump will be around 8.5 litre capacity in total.
  4. My Vi-PEC is by far superior product than anything ive used before...its top shelf. but your tuner should be the one you are asking questions to as he will be the fella crunching the numbers into whatever ecu you choose.
  5. $75 delivered ...thats 1/2 price. please pm
  6. Is that Joe Kyle Rob? Nice fella...i gave him a hand with his car at Import All Stars at Taupo a couple of years ago. Awesome work Robbie...well done mate. EDIT: i just read Lith's post on the previous page.
  7. Vi-PEC again. sorry
  8. JAGR33 gets my vote...Hawko, you know the one...the Silver R33 GTR from last years Superlap.
  9. They didn't put the rings on upside down did they?...its happened before.
  10. Thanks...should give it a better showing next time. Learning how to drive again really sucks too. Or maybe i never knew...the old set-up just made it look like i knew what i was doing.
  11. ive seen one with a Lexus badge on the back and a Toyota badge on the front.
  12. your time is a valueable thing...i wouldnt charge peanuts to be away from my family or doing things like relaxing with a few coldies around the bbq with friends. If you are good at what you do don't short change yourself...charge accordingly. I dont have a big workshop or any overheads (my mate has a 4 bay shed i work out of and gets free labour on his street/circuit GTR for the favour) either. this is not mean to be taken as a shot at you...just my opinion and maybe some advice.
  13. Surely you know who Andrew Hawkins is? He is not as famous as his sister (Jennifer) but almost. Doof...Andrew has been a member on here for years...but has been in stealth mode under another username.
  14. unfortunately no chance of replacing rear seats in car but you are welcome to have car for static display or anti-lag limiter exhibitions. The 'Bakes' R34 looks the goods and will have a Red 'R' Racing upgrade freshly finished by the time you need it. Ill get some pics.
  15. $400 plus parts is a fair price...considering the timing belt kit including the pulleys, belt etc is $280 makes Dan's quote just about spot on. I know i wouldn't do it for less than that and if anybody quoting less than that to make a dollar it would have to be a rush job. Remember the cam belt is keeping your valves away from your pistons...a rushed job and error could be very costly.
  16. here's the win run and this is what it was like earlier when it was playing up
  17. Spoke to Scott from Insight today and he has a new trick we can try...
  18. 044 pumps are designed to push fuel...not suck fuel like the STD pump...hence no strainer. Just put it in...it has a strainer built into the base of the pump (just look inside it)
  19. you would be lucky to see 'The Guilt's' run ever...maybe only if he's late for a buffet lunch. and i forgot to give a big thank you to 2ris' for the uplifting man love in pit lane.
  20. ended up with a 10.00 @ 143 on a 9.95 dial-in in the eliminators and put Rigoli's 'Boostin' VL on the trailer. This was the only highlight in a tough day of testing and tuning the new set-up. The car was using a wheel speed cut-out for the launch control which simply didn't work. We changed to a driver operated system using a button on the steering wheel with instant success with the car turning the tyres hard off the line launching the car. Wheel spin knocked the 60' time around (1.68) so we need less boost and rpm off the line. Mark is confident my usual 1.4 60' time would have seen a 9.40 with the current power level. The car is much harder to drive than with the low-mounts which was a simple point and shoot affair, yes 2rismo...ho-ly shitballs...this thing really moves and is such a rush to drive when it hooks up. Im going to give it another crack at a friday night ANDRA test session in 2 weeks. big thanks to all who assisted especially Mark Jacobsen, Scott Kuhner, Dave (T04Z GTR) and the Guilt Tripper.
  21. We made a fairly healthy jump in our power output today The MPH should be interesting if i can stay on it for the full run. Big thanks to Mark Jacobsen for all his assistance with the car.
  22. a 9.96 will not even do...i need 9.94. I wont run 9's on Friday on pump fuel anyway...its just a test session with around 465AWKW.
  23. Already booked in to hotel for friday night...so if its not on Mark and i will be drinking at the Roxy at Paramatta. Tuning Saturday morning at Insight...its not a wasted trip.
  24. Its the 101 excuses for a GTR driver handbook. Yes the box is in and its really good.
  25. I hear you don't even use your own material Guilt-Toy. 2Rismo has been speaking to Ray Box about pit allocation...he has 2rismo and i a spot near scruiteneering and a lovely spot for you down the back on the grass.
