  1. I will when this is done, it's looking fantastic. Keep up the good work.
  2. So this car is local to me then? Congrats, you just got a new friend, I will bring beer..
  3. Samsung 7kg front loader here, we've had it 8yrs so far, 6 of which has been with kids... I have replaced one water valve (leaking) and I suspect the shocks that hold the barrel are getting tired.
  4. Oh that stuff I do, that's not a reno though. I just see that stuff as basic maintenance work and I do all that. First year apprentice work for a tradie. When I was helping my mate put in our new ducted ac/heater he told me I would make a good TA lo f**k him I was more talking bench tops, cabinets, tiling etc but the flat pack is a good idea.
  5. I like to try and do as much as I can, but there are some jobs I don't attempt. I put tiling in that basket, but a mate of mine had a go using youtube clips when he did his bathroom and I have to say it came up as good as I'd expect a tradie to do. I've got kitchen/bathroom/laundry to do in this place and I'm considering outsourcing the whole lot lol
  6. Recoat smash repairs? Or somewhere else? Trying to work out of this car is local to me and I never realised it - I'm in Albury/Wodonga.
  7. Glad I could provide some useful content. Maybe one day I'll buy a 35 and then we can watch me realise how far out of my mechanical depth I would be, would be a great build lol. With my dirt road in and out of my property though not likely
  8. hahah great testing and yes stock GT-Rs are pretty shit. I still feel like the chassis wants at least 400rwkw to be "lively". I know I wanted more in mine at 380, so maybe 450 is the right number? Just when you can, I am just trying to live vicariously through you.
  9. Looks great, i would not have picked the guard in the pic without highlighting it. SHOW INTERIOR AND ENGINE BAY
  10. Also please post close ups now you've cleaned it properly. Engine bays and interiors are the two places that I find low K's cars really shine.
  11. We're making progress. Just need to gloss up that lower lip and your tyres. Big points for no plate in the rolling shot.
  12. I've got kids and I live on a dirt road out of town, i know what dirty house/cars are...
  13. God damn, would you detail this car please and shine up all the blacks and plastics etc. You're killing me.
  14. You're kidding me? You mean I shouldn't just assume everything I read here is fact, do my own research, and come up with my own conclusions anyway? Because I have certainly never done that... I'm not sure what I'll do about the backwards engine just yet, but I'm sure there's a box to fix it.
  15. I will go Halal because I want as many boxes as possible. That's the only way to go fast....
  16. There's a critical issue though. Nobody here wants to tune it. Getting the Silvia done was a bit of a pain last time, and I can't say I was impressed with the result (which may say more for who tuned it). If I can't get good results with one locally, there's no point. Would rather go with what my tuner likes and recommends.
  17. lol yes I know As if I would buy all that fruit for the bottom end and head then run it on a Nistune I might cheap out on the turbo yet, but I won't cheap out on management.
  18. Non-existent All my time and money going into the house. Will be a Nistune Kinugawa build at this rate. I did get a job though so that's a plus.
  19. Looks great, well done If you could stop pissing on about the SAU builds standards Haltech Garret shit...
  20. I had a poke around the Milwaukee site, some of that M12 gear looks fantastic for working on jap cars.
  21. Hasn't been an issue yet *shrug* But I am used to fitting big things in tight places, you might be more used to handling tiny stuff?
  22. Man these small Milwaukee tools are looking very tempting! I've had good success with the cheapo Ryboi ratchet, haven't had any issues fitting it in places yet but I've only been on the Mazda and the Landcruiser and haven't had to squeeze it in anywhere yet.
