    Not seized, just tight. My dad had it off last month to replace the front main, missed the oil pump seal was leaking also. He did it back to spec, almost 420Nm, no Loctite. That's over 300 ft lbs, my basic torque wrench only goes to 150. It's just a tight bolt as it holds the oil pump and ps pump on the crank. No keyways for those. Service manual has a special tool set for this job, with a pulley holder that has a handle well over 1m long and requires 3/4" breaker for the bolt itself. Tight!

    Landcruiser has been busting my balls when I do find a few mins to progress it. Cannot remove the balancer bolt, factory spec is a bit over 400Nm of torque. First challenge was locking up the crank as it's an auto. I have chained the pulley to the frame, that was enough for me to do this... So I will need to borrow a 3/4" breaker and torque wrench and have another go when I get back from Xmas holidays.

    I think you do underestimate how fast the Silvia will be, but we can shit our pants together when i get mine done because I think I underestimate it too. What's the purpose of the 2 cars? Silvia for track GT-R for street? Could save yourself a FAT stack of cash by not going too wild on the GT-R and having the Silvia as your "fast" car?

    Did this thing used to have a big turbo kit on it before it was imported? Wonder why they built it and did the head? Someone had some plans at some point?

    Or is it? *Dramatic music* Given how much interest there often is in dyno sheets despite the rariety of 1000hp cars, my guess would be a couple? We'll put you down as a no though. Also what's in Brazil?

    You seem to work with the most vocal tuners and mechanics, everybody seems to be so outspoken about how great the car is 0_0 I've seen some very mint cars in workshops get nothing more than a "not bad" and a nod lol Dyno sheet?

    Are those the specs? I thought this was a full house build? That looks like a 300kw build, was all the good stuff stripped off before it came in? Standard capacity? Gotta wonder why it was refreshed if not to chase power. Any pics of the head work? Least if it's built you can wind boost in. Dyno sheet/street vid!

    Woah woah woah, I didn't say soft, I said changed. I like me some stock daily comfort and wouldn't mind a euro as well. Remember, I did opt not to buy an R35 because the M4 ways heaps nicer. I just ended up buying another house instead of swapping cars.

    All said tongue in cheek, not savage. You're the savage for not washing that car before video (I have 2 kids, 5 and 2, i feel your pain). I'm confused about spats now, but they should still be standard. My old car was a v-spec. I thought standard GT-R end plates had GT-R emblem in them? so you have 1 with and 1 without? You can't clock up bulk K's on that car. Well, technically you can do whatever the hell you want, but I would "encourage" you to maintain it in pristine condition. If wife needs a daily GT-R, put a GT-R badge on a S2 GTST, they're both slow anyway so she wont know the difference.

There's no way in hell you should be letting your wife regularly drive it, or anyone for that matter before anyone cries gender bias or some shit. It's a collectable. 2:45 mark you can see how filthy the car is, why do a video without having the car detailed. What the hell man, even a basic wash, you could've even just done a 1 bucket wash. "They don't come cleaner than this"... Bad lighting during bonnet section, dusty also, wtf Steve. I thought rear spats were optional, but should be essential. 9:40 mark, what is that blue/black thing under the dash? Alarm stuff? if so, probs don't want to advertise it. Can also see at 9:50. 10:17, no GT-R emblem on the spoiler end plate? Other side has one though? Wot. 6/10 review, you gotta up your game to boost its value. You need to get a car mag/facebook page etc to feature it and do it some justice oh and wash it first you savage. My 33R had 33,000ks on it, S2 with S3 additions (headlights, lip, rear spats) and it wasn't as clean as this as a base (close, but a few more front end blemishes from being driven, marks on splitter etc) but was much cleaner in terms of being clean and shiny lol

    Why are there no details on the engine build 0_0 Once in a lifetime and perfect street build some pretty enticing.

    Have basically done nothing. Wont even think about a shed til early next year, too busy. Silvia has sat untouched, all the engine bits still there, just been way too busy with everything else. Don't have the motivation needed to start the engine build as I know how much more work is beyond that. Having one of those moments where I'm trying to really work out what the goals are etc. The plans for the engine build got a little out of hand, which would result in gearbox swaps, diff swaps, 5 stud upgrade to get decent rubber on it etc and I'm questioning if I really want to go down that path. Started chipping away on the Land Cruiser to prep for roadworthy, replaced distributor seal but turns out the oil pump housing is also leaking so will do that next. Have also ordered a rear brake valve for it as there's a weep there.
