  1. There is, RaceChrono2Avi Buy a GoPro. Show us the stuff ups, I always put them at the end my good lap because reality checks are important
  2. Car looks really smooth and planted, so you must not be driving it hard enough If you have RaceChrono data, why am I looking at RaceRender and no gauges
  3. Round 6 finished, managed another PB and class win. Either .2 or .4 tenths depending on official vs RaceChrono + XPS160 timing. Previous was 57.8. Finished 12th outright from approx 60 cars. RaceChrono thinks there's a 56.7 optimal lap in the combined sectors but it can be misleading as the best time in one sector may mess up the start of the next etc, either way a 56 would be amazing for the car. Only 1 more round to go and that's in the November so it might be too warm to go any quicker by then. See how we go. Trying to squeeze max life from the AR1s which are getting on now but still producing times. I can't tell if the car is looser because the tyres are wearing our or if I'm just pushing them harder. The extra wheel work is evident in the clips. Had some issues with visor coming down mid corner/after bumps will need to tighten that. Tried to start the car on the trailer while it was in gear, damaged the splitter again. Failed to recover a late turn in/loss of the rear and went to mow the grass on the infield also. As always enjoy the PB lap + stuff ups.
  4. eBay, but amazon and various others stock them.
  5. Happy with how the battery adaptor worked out. Not as slim as the Milwaukee but cheaper and still going to get in more places than the drill I was using plus now I can grab other cheapie Ryobi skins when I need a sometimes tool and keep using the better AEG batteries. If I find the battery bulk holding me back on the regular I will grab the Milwaukee and just bite the bullet on having 2 different sets of batteries/chargers (a pet hate). See how we go. Next on the list is a bigger shed at the new place with room for a proper size hoist.
  6. That was my thought too lol
  7. I just grabbed a cheapie to try, Oh and a battery adapter coz f**k buying new specific ones and I wasn't spending over 300 to get the AEG multi tool plus ratchet adaptor combo when I just wanted the ratchet..
  8. That's a big vote of confidence then. Hard to beat the value.
  9. Pics of tread? What were you thinking next? I was thinking slicks.
  10. For what it's worth my AR1s look terrible but are still producing lap times. They are a really odd tyre, like weird pressures, have weird heat cycle characteristics, "feel" weird when they get hot, but at the same time, the lap times keep falling despite the tyres getting more worn. We'll see what the can do at Logic in a weeks time as they are 3 events older since the last time I was there.
  11. I'm happy with the cheapo defi knock off, has been good so far, let's see how it lasts.
  12. Will be both, remember I'm coming from a CA so a stock SR would have more power and wider band. Getting ready to send stuff off, gotta wrap the block and still chasing rods as I changed my mind and sold the first set. Track day Sunday week. How's your bus?
  13. We have decided to stall this build as hard as possible and buy a GT-R instead... You best be given updates you f**k
  14. More power, better lap times.
  15. Fair enough, I'm gonna give slicks a go next season.
  16. I will get this setup through to the end of this season then go from there as i may end up with 5 stud/different brakes yet. I have new project mu rotors and pads on the shelf, in 4 stud, so may use those yet. You got tyre hookups yet?
  17. Someone should donate one to go behind my new baby motor for the track car. I will test and report back, will even take you for laps I'm such a good bloke.
  18. Scratch that. 3 tenths improvement in PB the official timing shows. So that camber change did the trick.
  19. Surprised you have the time mate, thought you'd be too busy overcharging people for used GTR junk?
  20. Hah, nope. Will be glad to not have to move it to the new house. Am sick of what this place has become in the last few years. I thought flat cap drifter f**ks had ruined it, but just as many GTR/Big build wankers with too many opinions and egos doing it just as much damage.
  21. Who gives a shit if the box is 5k or 25k and what the intended purpose was. This is the shit I'm talking about, someone does something, anything, and people almost always go out of their way to tell the owner why it was wrong/wasn't what they said originally/not what their tuner recommended etc and straight away we're into hand bags and anti roll racing shit, again. Who f**king cares, goals and opinions change, sometimes quite often and very quickly. Deal with it and maybe more people would post more info on their builds.
  22. Did half a track day yesterday, packed up early as I had set a decent time in first session and spent the second mostly off the track. Really struggling to get the brakes up to temp and working, even with the ducts covered. Taking me 2-3 laps (35-37s laps so only short track) to get them warm. Only have a small tyre window by that stage as they are going off sooner as they age. Attacked a witches hat and had to bend the winglet flat. I was going to lose those in the V3 splitter anyway. We found out the the trailer I borrow had damaged stub axle.. Thankfully that happened at home 0_0 Class win, no PB.
