  1. I reckon, I bet a 200 series would have cost a lot more to service and repair over the same period. Though would hold it's value a shit load better.
  2. Drift Sales people deserve it, carry on.
  3. Sounds like you're trying to hide some rust...
  4. I was talking common for R34s, dunno about the rest.
  5. The obvious rust in the boot/towers. Rad support repairs the list goes on. I did an 8hr round trip drive to go see one only to find all new seam sealer on the inner guards and obvious signs of cover up to repairs, entire rear subframe covered in decent surface rust. Pass. On the other hand, the one I bought had a tiny bit of surface rust in the spare wheel well (common) and everything else was original. So I bought it and as I expected after pulling the whole front end off, it was very original and in good nick. Good ones do exist, but plenty have been crashed/poor rust repairs/no repairs etc. Rust happens, big deal, just fix it properly and be honest about it.
  6. So the big ticket items are still to come. I assume it's got direct injection as well so 6 very expensive injectors + injector pump is a good few K (same as any modern SUV now), turbo will be whenever it goes.
  7. Excellent info, much appreciated. It's a turbo diesel right? So when are you expecting turbo/injection pump to shit the bed? Trans still happy?
  8. TCO, not just depreciation. What's it cost you to repair/maintain etc.
  9. When did you buy it (k's)? What's the TCO been as I've looked at these as a potential cheap second hander good tow rig half decent family buss that isn't a full spec Cruiser etc.
  10. That trend hasn't caught on here yet, but I don't live in metropolitan Australia. Another reason why I hate going to Sydney for work, much worse than Melbourne for that shit.
  11. I did it wrong too, bought a rust free one for cheap, spent a few bucks, then sold it and turned a tidy profit before the market wised up. What the hell was i thinking?! Still wouldn't mind having a 35 down the track, glutton for punishment apparently.
  12. If you're happy with rust then at least you have plenty to choose from.
  13. Too many boobs for me, I only need 4
  14. Give him a break, he's busy trying to fund the stance.
  15. He probs just thought the R31 was on a cool down lap given the pace?
  16. He means the guy in the vid he was telling to move. Dude was parked on the racing line harder than some of the entrants from AutoSalon 2004.
  17. There's some gravel skids when Petey goes rally cross, no dose though as the in car makes it sound like a stock v6 commo You can hear "get the f**k outta the way" which was my personal highlight.
  18. S13 easy to go fast, lol, with those reliable motors and excellent suspension geometry they get from factory, Yeah. The recipe for making any old nissan "fast" is the same shit. Build/Replace everything, maybe go a touch quicker, repeat. I'll keep my eye out on the national news when they do the mardi gras coverage, give us a wave. Did you cut a flap/put a vent in that wine barrel since you first installed it?
  19. Nah, heaps better than Skyboats. Less weight, make plenty of power, use all the same brakes, less habib tax on parts. The worst thing is the flat cap community that's all around them. As bad as the habib GT-R cocks
  20. "well done on managing to not missing a chance" How bout that f**king grammar lol. Pfft, R31 isn't the greatest ever made sorry, Silvia's are 1000 times better than 31s/GT-Rs on track. Fact. Plus once I pour too much money into the shit heap with overnight parts from Jap... mainly the US, I will even be able to keep up in a straight line with slow Skylines. Silvia's are rad.
  21. $1500 on ps lines? Are they electronically coded to the car or some bullshit?
  22. Hah, well done on managing to not missing a chance to talk about GT-Rs being shit lol Good save on that off too.
  23. As above, I've done this before I had a GoPro as I've had RC-Pro for a while. The syncing is a bit of a stuff around imo and having RC control the GoPro (or other supported camera) for you automatically is a nice bonus you miss out on also.
  24. All good, I just want to feel better because I'm always having "moments" lol
