  1. Should it not be as simple as the company distibuting "Magic Cat" providing documentation to prove that their Cat Converters meet ASE or ADR ( or whatever they are ) requirements / regs ???? It just seems far too simple for the distributors to clear their name and get back on with selling their product........ I guess on the other hand.......is there any documentation available for the "Catco" Cats that says "it" is approved for use in Australia under ADR's etc ?? I know the US / California regs are more strict than ours, but that does not mean by default that the parts are accepted for use in AUS. I guess another question would be: Is ASE Engineering Approval required for the fitment of one of these cats since neither is OEM fitment. Not trying to stir up any $hit. Just throwing a few more bones out there for all to chew on
  2. One of the best catch can's I've seen for a GT-R is the ones that Just Jap ( Kirrawee NSW ) sell which mounts directly over the engine and any oil that's breathed out of the engine will drain back into the engine but the vapour it still taken away by vacuum. And there are no hoses running everywhere No I don't own a GT-R and I don't work for Just Jap but I just thought it might be of interest
  3. Don't know about the bar but it looks a lot like this picture was taken at Jetspeed at Liverpool NSW.
  4. Rego, rust etc etc ?
  5. Sweet as. Congrats !! Now look after it, and don't end up a statistic Go do a few skid-pan days under tuition. Great way to learn about your car and yourself ( and cut lose with a big grin ) BTW My first car was a Fiat 131 with no brakes or head gasket for $300. ( Times they are a changing !!! )
  6. Not the best but here's my contribution Drifting R32 GTS ( of course ) and Lancia Stratos in Monaco.
  7. Hmm. Good call ! I'll try that phone number thing. Cheers
  8. Thanks VIPERGTSR01 I'll give it a go. Should produce some interesting pictures considering my demented driving style
  9. Mark, Just to clarify the construction of the valve, is it correct that the adjuster only screws in a total of 4 full turns before bottoming out ?
  10. Can you post a pic or 2 ? Want to see how much meats on them.
  11. Thanks for the help. I got it :jump: and then nailed every other mission right after up to the last one where you have to drive that piece of crap, lounge chair merc around N/B/Ring. Still working on that one. I still think the mission was crap cause who really comes belting into a corner and stabs the brake's ???? For that matter, why would anyone in an R34 GT-R lift off the loud pedal ??? Or anyone in a Skyline for that matter ???
  12. Matt, I'll have to retract that statement as the AFM is now sold ( payment pending ). It really is "the quick or the dead" around here :uh-huh:
  13. ed is working on it and may have some really good news soon ( fingers crossed ) :headbang:
  14. Check out "GT Gearlock" Might be along the lines of what you want. I've got one in my car and it's good security that doesn't take up space or look ugly.
  15. What about in car droning ? Like at 2000 rpm on the freeway ? Are all these OK ?
  16. :werd: I'd buy one of those in a heart beat.
  17. I've got one on my car atm. For the $40 I paid, I figured I'd give it a go. Installed it about 3 months ago and although it may be coincidence, an issue with "hunting idle" stopped. Other than that, I've seen no benefit to having one of these. I got the same fuel consumption etc etc. Now that I'm promted, I'll remove mine soon to see if the hunting idle problem comes back and I will let you know what happens.
  18. Sega what ?!?! ( Sorry, this PS2 is the first game station I've owned ) BTW How do you take those pics of the cars during the replays on PS2 ??
  19. simark87: You have PM from me also.
  20. G'Day Matt. I've got am RB20DET AFM if you want it. Nothing wrong with it at all. $70 ( includes postege to Vic ) PM if interested.
  21. I hate to admit it but my fav car for drifting is the Lancia Stratos with full tune, etc on the track in Monaco ( can't remember the track name ). Before you throw rocks at me, spend an hour, buy and try the car ( if you've got a couple of extra credits to play around with ). Turn it into a corner at speed, lift the off the gas drop down a gear and re-apply gas and there you have it.....instant drift Soooooooo much fun !!!!!
