  5. 16psi with the rb25 turbo on a rb20 isnt the same as 16psi through a rb25 however..
  6. You deffinately wont get 250rwkw out of a r34 sidemount. My ARC sidemount maxed out at 210rwkw. Any more boost and it heat soaked very quickly followed by detonation. 200rwkw is about all you will push out of a 34sm.
  7. Well if it isnt running lean and it isnt knocking then it will be fine untill its on the dyno. Just be sure its not knocking when the turbo is spiking.
  8. ^^ agreed the debate is to what has more potential and with standard set ups the 2jz is without a doubt the best option when it comes to bang for buck.
  9. The TPS is your throttle position sensor. Im not quite sure what you mean by does this mean i dont have a throttle cable? Because of cause it has a throttle cable going to the throttlebody to open and close the butterfly. The tps is used to monitor the postion of the throttle. Take the TPS off and give the end a clean its possible that it could be giving you grief. Have you tried cleaning your AFM aswell?
  10. I wouldnt be pushing it hard without getting it on the dyno for atleast a powerrun to check the AFR's are all ok. You could do some serious internal damage otherwise.
  11. Its not about how much boost can it handle its about how much power it can handle on stock internals. What power are you making at the moment? Then we can give you a basic guide to what is generally considered safe on stock internals. Around 250-260rwkw for longetivity of engine.
  12. 240awkw wouldnt translate to 357kw at the engine, that would make a 117kw loss of power through driveline.
  13. I agree with that completely. if you want it to last the distance i wouldnt push a 25 anywhere near as hard a 2jz

  15. 1JZ and 2JZ are forged from factory very well designed engines.
