naa i dont need a loan or i wouldnt do it... i didnt want to commit to it last fin year as we were going overseas for a month but turns out the trip nearly cost us nothing so i can do it now. i know i wont be as good off as others but just want my bills as close to zero or under if possible. was warned yesterday about a few companys who they couldnt name, that some places will likely shut up shop in the next year or two as business winds down so take my time choosing who and what exactly i want... i cant see us leaving this house in the foreseable future so it should pay itself off and then some
  3. i cant watch the vid at the moment but if its compressor bearing i would buy another one from the sale section(prob 50-100) and get someone to re-gas for a few hundred
  4. did i mention i have a crf250 in my games room looking for a home gerry...? registered sporty will do 120 with current gearing but stock gearing did 150+ just hit 4000kms electric and kickstart just sayin bunbury yamaha is across the road from harvey norman near orbit fitness and paint shop

    Solar Power

cheers guys, ive had a sydney rep from true value calling me regularly but i said im not in a rush. some companys i requested a rep to call never rang back in regards to panels etc i noticed on one site they have 2 types of panel. bigger one that are from taiwan and assembled in china. smaller type are aussie and have been around for 10 plus years. lot more expensive for bigger ones so why would ya. good idea on the solar forum paulie! using recent bills and solar calculator about $1700 can be saved a year with 3kw system. need to find out a bit more about the inverters
  7. in the dark this morning could just barely see a dark(maybe purple) 32 of some kind pull into worsley parking area in bunno opposite Caltex direct supply 515am

had a call back from true value solar today, they quoted 8500 for 3kw on sat and today 7400 due to changes by the government? still waiting on other quotes. thinking about getting it put on the patio so it helps reduce temp underneath plus it will be near impossible to see it. 5kw systems are around the 12k mark but i havent asked about 5kw invertor with 3kw worth of panels
  9. Gerrys 33 GTR going past harvey norman in bunno just before 3. loud holden ute taking off from centrepoint lights with a white 33 in pursuit
  10. ive used "Japan rail passes" a few times now. can only be bought here before going.$200 from memory about for a week unlimted on all trains except express bullet train(Nozomi) but i got away with it and i dont think it covers subway either but thats cheap enough anyway. was handy for me when ive travelled from Kyushu to Tokyo a couple times stopping at major cities to visit friends.
  11. hey who has gone solar and has any tips or recommendations on who to use or what to get etc. i wanted to do it last financial year but couldnt. thinking about 3kw is a good size as it gets pricey above that. what are people saving now on their bills. i heard $100 a month for average bills
  12. keep putting on beers and BBQs and between SAU lads you could prob get it rebuilt

    Tokyo In November

ive been to japan dozens of times and lived there for a while too and i still have fun everytime. even if you didnt see any motorsport events you will still have a phat time. there is an endless amount of things to do especially in Tokyo
  15. to the op- there is a thread in the DIY section about a temporary solution to get the clutch dust out and quieten it down. to Z1LLA- bring it round on a weekend and we can take it out and ill strip the starter down and give it a birthday. pref a sat morning incase we need to go get new brushes etc
  16. i used to to this too. had a beer at the pub with a bloke who turned out to be an off duty cop with a skyline. i started waving at all cops and got wtf looks from all the other cops for a month or so then they all started waving at me and no more RBTs cars been off the road so long now i fear when its going again i will be a target again
  17. wingless black 34 coming onto boost through international short term carpark 9am
  18. i have restless leg syndrome too but mine doesnt get out of control unless the temperature of my legs is different to my body. especially when my legs are colder than my body i get some serious kicks going. i dont have many probs in winter as im under the covers but in summer when im half under it can be a bit annoying. routine is important for me. i sleep between 11-12 every night and wake up between 530-615. too much/little sleep wrecks me during the next day and makes me take longer to get to sleep. i also take no medication whatsoever, not even panadol. as for getting to sleep quickly...throw a leg over its in our DNA to sleep immediately after
  19. stock looking, wine red 33 gtst in bunbury today with mandurah plates on bunbury bypass
  20. did someone try crimping the return fuel hose to squeeze some more pressure out of it? looking forward to hearing the result
  21. Its a fuel/water separator. When you can see water in the bowl, you open the tap in the bottom to drain it out.As water cant be compressed and diesels run such high fuel pressure its quite important. Plus the fact that many diesels are subject to nasty conditions and lots of contamination.
  22. could just barely see a red 32 up in the distance today in bunbury at picton lights turning towards town. just before 6

Welcome, better not let your missus see your profile. she might be upset she is at the bottom of the list of your interest. good to see the car at the top its a great place to learn, enjoy your stay
  24. the electric fan for the aircon goes slightly to the right and plugs into the brown plug hanging there. it kinda looks like part of the bracket is broken off and still bolted there at the bottom.
