  1. you'll need barrel nuts or nuts to suit bolt on spacers... they are a 17mm head,
  2. im guessing that the sensor sees the rev's rise but the road speed remain the same, and predicts that it is wheel spin.
  3. tis what i did last time i opened the diff up and it started to leak. lol rang nissan, they wanted 100 bucks for it... fark that got some gasket paper and made one
  4. lol thats what i was going to post
  5. mmmm wheelspin on the dyno in the midrange sounds like fun times on the track then q
  6. seen a 3 inch exhaust flow well over 350 rwkw.... just needs to be a quality system.
  7. pretty agreessive curve! should come on hard like you wanted, whats that little dip tho?
  8. lol reminds me of back in the day when i had my series 3 13b turbo rx7, in 2000, snapped 3 axles... paid 300 bucks a pair... twice... for axles... stupid mazda's their parts are so rare,
  9. water is corrosive. but hey its your turbo. the flap is never going to seal 100% there will always be some leakage thought it, and spillage of light in a dark room, might look like a solar eclipse but the reality is we're looking for larger leaks.
  10. bullshit, light is as good as usiing exhaust gas to tell if there is a leak or not. Its quite a common technique to use to verify leaks or not, you dont even need to be in a pitch black room, if you cant see light coming through, then its not leaking, you could use water too which is prob a little more verifiable however not too many people are keen on pouroing water through their turbo. the job is to shine a bright light through the turbine housing, and see if you can see the light coming through area's it shouldnt.
  11. just a pity they cant drift it for shit
  12. because the p[eople who work in servos dont know shit I found the same prob was out to the local race track in SA, and all the servo's on the way out had 95... ended up putting that in + octane booster... but why the fark cant they stock 98!!!
  13. dont need to remove the X member either. or an engine brace. Do this on a hoist tho, We used a port a power kit to lift the motor up by undoing the engine mount bolts, then a 3/8 socket kit with flexi drive and wobble bars to get to all the sump bolts... once sump is undon use a hammer and chisel to break the seal, you'll need a ratchet spanner and patience to undo the oil pick up bolts. once thats done drop the sway bar and then slide the sump out. takes a few hours and some sware words
  14. 3071R for a rb20.. hell i run one on my 25 and its awesome!
  15. OEM pistons OEM rods
  16. Nissan lol. Trent, howmuch for R32 handbrake shoes? I need a set soon
  17. Anyone know where to get the large seal that sits between the housing and the rear cover? for an R200 R32 type diff. If nissan, anyone know the part number and price? Cheers Simon

  19. with the screamer, there is a resonation through the pipe but thats not to say that it is leaking. with mine you can put you hand over it, no gas is coming out but you can feel and hear a resonation going through it, not sure if the note changes or not i cant remember.
  20. al: yeah its never going to be 100% but should be damn close to 99%! i run internal gate with a screamer, and after flapper issues of my own, i ended up tig welding the flap so it didnt rotate around, its perfect now, no leaks and sounds tough
  21. well as you said, you've eliminated it down to the gate, take it back to the guy who did the job, pro or not, he should fix it if there is a prob with it.
  22. lol yeah, not sure what the guy was expecting... sure isnt going to be some 400 rwkw monster
  23. yeah thats too true about houses not nearly as much as fun as cars either lol.
  24. yes s13 is the same
  25. Discopot: yeah very valid points there mate, i didnt have my say in what rear housing i got as i ended up with whart GCG sent me, but the results speak for them selves in my case with it making 265 rwkw on 16 psi and 283 rwkw on 20psi... While no doubt the turbo would make more with a decent rear wheel and housing... i feel that the current set up is pretty bloody good
