How can you check the stock bovs are opening and closing properly?

Just moved the coil pack cover to the side and coil pack loom to the side. Only thing I disconnected was the big connector going from coilpack loom, through the coilpack cover and to the ignitor. Actualy I couldn't get that connector to "click" in position but it did go all the way in? Back to the drawing board...

Nah earth on coil pack loom is connected to the bolt that holds the coilpacks down, and the other little earth on the ignitor is nice and tight Might try swapping batteries with another car tomorow and see

started the car this morning perfectly fine, went out for an hour and came back just before i took my coil packs off (yellow jackets) to check my spark plugs, everything was sweet so i put everything back on only to realise the car wouldnt turn over. Battery volts showing on the sub-meter in the cabin was 6 volts ? so i tested with a multi meter at the battery terminals and that showed 12.2volts?? how can there be about 6 volts difference between battery and gauge inside cabin?? i hooked up a battery packs, it started for afew seconds then died, now it just keeps cranking and cranking but doesnt start things ive done so far, ran out of time cos i gotta go to a stupid suprise bday ! *all fuses are fine *fuel pump is priming, fuse on pump relay is fine still gotta check for spark, would i have to test every single spark plug? what are the chance of my Ignitor failing, and is there a way to test it?

I'm getting the same problem with my car lately on Hi boost @18ish psi, Running -7 turbos, and greedy profec b spec 2 boost controller. Never had a problem with lag/flat spot between high rpm gear changes but lately it's started Even tried turning my gain and set gain down still no luck, car doesn't even chirp 2nds anymore cos of this delay, Anyone know what may be the problem? Ps. It doesn't do it on low boost @14psi

got a set in my r32 gtr, no probs running 1.1mm spark plug gap @ 18psi boost

just found out i got adjustable wastegate actuators on my -7's with my profec off tthey boost to about 9ish psi so most likely set to 7psi how do you go about them holding higher boost? tighten the arm thus making it shorter? or lenghten the arm by loosening the bolt? il do the compressor/air reg test to see how they perform aswell

dunno if my unit is faulty, but tonight going from redline 1st gear into 2nd i still get this odd spike which equals to lag between gear changes at high rpm tried lowering my Gain to 15%, and Set Gain to 70 (7psi) but still does it ever to slightly may need to turn gain down further? i never had this problem up until late (when i started mucking around with the gain and set settings) i did have them higher so it would hold boost better but im finding myself lowering and lowering these settings to avoid this spike :S anyone else getting or had this prob ?
