  2. exactly ! when i didnt drive my car for 1 week or so then go to drive it, it would slip abit but then when it warmed up it would never do it again (stock clutch) i thought my clutch was on its way out, when we pulled it out to put a new one in, found the stock clutch to be in excellent condition and that the rear main seal was leaking ever so slightly its a realy good idea to replace the rear main seal while you do your clutch

  4. depends...are you upgrading the turbos? i started mid day saterday, had the turbos off by 7ish that night, then turbos on sunday morning and finished abit after lunch but i had all the tools, all new gaskets etc etc so i didnt waste time to go source parts, plus i was lucky and my oil/oil lines didnt crack like alot do due to age
  5. Turbos off job mate, I recently changed my turbos and there is definetly no way in hell you can change the dumps with turbos on
  6. before i bought my r32 gtr, i compression tested afew that realy appealed to me. i took them for a nice drive to get the engine hot, then did the compression test at WOT my gtr came up 160 - 162psi accross each pot... different methods will get different results

  9. So ur saying because it has a 76mm decat testpipe, the 70mm flange on the cat back is actualy causing a restriction ? Does the amount of bends in the catback cause abit of power loss/restriction?

  11. sounds like a turbo has gone bye bye u might find bits of exhaust wheel in ur cat when u drop it down.
  12. how old are plugs? what gap u running? ignitor could also be busted
  13. This also freaked me out when I first installed my profec b. Ended up putting some rubber under the solenoid and it's much better now
  14. hey guys my exhaust consists of R34 GTR dump pipes(60mm outlets) going into 2x60mm to 76mm merge front pipes, into 76mm decat, then 70mm to 80mm "hks legal" cat back. all this time i though my cat back was going from 76mm after the cat then opening to 80mm but i had it off the other day to fix a leak and measured inside the flange and found it to be 70mm inside diameter ! would this step down in exhaust flow cause a noticible restriction? also its a very quiet cat back, got afew little bends after the cat going into the center resonator(straight through type) then afew more little bends (with a nice almost golf ball dent in it too lol), then a big S looking bend near the fuel tank before exiting out the rear muffler. im organising a final tune in the coming month or so, is it worth me ditching this and getting a nice 80-90mm stainless zorst? (kakimoto regu 06&r mmmmmmm )
