  5. i had enough of my old profec so i bought a brand new one last week, my old one was bought second hand when i first bought the car fixed my boost spikes and lag....now it only drops 1.5psi at redline which is pretty good
  6. So is there anything I can do to service my bovs? Anything inside I can clean or inspect etc ?

  11. Yeh seems to have done it since then but could be a coincidence I didn't remove my bov's but I made sure all the clamps on it were tight
  12. When it lags I get peak boost of 24psi for some reason? Also gotta check that the vacuum hose going to the profec b through the firewall isn't kinked, i'l do this and change the solenoid tomoz and see how it goes
  13. Yep but I've only put the new unit in so far, haven't been able to put the new solenoid in cos of the rain
  14. I just want to know if the stock GTR blow off valves can be removed and cleaned and also checked to make sure the pistons are opening and closing properly? I'm still experiencing lag/hesitation for about a second or so when shifting hard and fast so I thought i would check to make sure my bovs are opening properly and then go from there. Thanks

  17. my hot starts are shit. cold starts are perfect, its after the car has been driven for abit and then switched off for over 15ish mins that it becomes an ass. my tune is perfect, plugs are perfect, compression is 160 across each cylinder... still gotta try new fuel reg, and maybe a coolant temperature sensor too

  21. old thread but its exactly what im after ! good ol' SAU ive got the same -7 turbos with the same adjustable actuators, now with my profec b turned off (running wastegate pressure) it runs almost 10psi boost. would "shortening" the actuator arm be of any benefit? i do get boost drop at high RPM how much should i tighten the arms? afew turns? about 5mm? im currently running 18psi also i dont know if thinking this is right, but if we tighten the arm say "5mm" or so, would there still be enough travel in the arm to fully open the wastegate flap? or would it not be opening completly as its now shorter? sorry about all the questions but hopefuly someone can teach me cheers guys
