    Hey all

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!11 Don't you wish you could delete threads?
  2. You want my honest opinion? From someone who has spent more money than you would believe modifying N/A cars? Save your money. Do an exhaust for a nice sound and suspension mods for handling if you want to, but don't chase power with an N/A engine. It's ridiculous to spend $1500 on an exhaust and gain 3-5kw... PowerFC, another 10kw.. Do the same mods to a GTS-t and pump up the boost via a $150 bleed valve and you'll gain about 40-50kw. Ridiculous isn't it? In 5 years time when you start modifying turbocharged cars, you'll see that for the $10000 you spent on the N/A engine, you get the same gains with an exhaust and increased boost for $1500. Modifying an N/A car is a complete waste of time and your hard earnt money. Save it all up for when you get yourself a turbo car and then go nuts With all the money you save you'll be able to modify your turbo car into an absolute MONSTER
  3. That's true Matt... Carrillo rods are VEEEEEEEEEEERY light ;) So maybe a slight increase in response and a little more power from reduced rotating mass Won't make that much of a difference though I wouldn't think... But I hope I'm wrong!
  4. hehehe... I won't drive it down.. I'll probably get it trailered... And I'll have internal mods, yes... But if you think about it, they don't add any power really. Especially not at our power levels. I could strap on the GT-SS onto the stock motor and be fine... Forged pistons, forged conrods and the rest of it doesn't add any power, it just makes the motor more reliable (and allows me to run a big hit of nitrous )
  5. Sam, Majanal (Dan) will be there in the morning and I think he'll be able to take your membership form... But it would probably be best just to mail in the form and Shell (our fearless secretary) will process it for you!
  6. Stop whoring this thread you fagmos!!!
  7. This is a no-brainer really. Buy and install an RB25DET - $3000 Sell your RB25DE - ($800) ---------------------------------- Total: $2200 Full Exhaust - $1500 Turbosmart E-Boost - $650 Power FC - $1000 ---------------------------------- SubTotal: $3150 =================== TOTAL: $5350 =================== Power.... Oh............... Around 180rwkw / 230kw
  8. Getting horsepower is cheap. Making it long lasting and reliable is expensive.
  9. Absolutely, if you have low mount turbos... No point in comparing if you have a T88 strapped to the side, you're goals are completely different to Jack's, Simon's and my own. I'll have a completely built engine, so I could strap on a T51R SPL and turn up the boost if I wanted to, but that's not what this comparo is about.
  10. If you have to ask, no.
  11. Looks like my whinging worked for once Thanks dude I'll be there at the start line when you run your first 11 second pass
  12. Register your attendance here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/ca...y=2004-5-29&c=1
  13. All entrants thank you for supporting our club. More than I can say for a lot of our "club elders"... You should have by now recieved an email from Damian with entry details, but here it is in a nutshell. Drag Competitors, arrive at 7:30am Show 'n Shiners arrive at 9am... I'm personally going to show up at 8:00am-ish to help put up the marquee and banner, and I would please like to ask everyone be there by 8:30am so we can setup the display and organise the cars around the marquee... I won't be around the cars during the day as I will be taking photos for [cabin] and SAU, so I want to get everything setup ASAP in the morning. two.06l (Stacey) is also entered in the Drags and will be meeting us there in his R32 GTR. My mobile phone number is 0418881113 if you need to talk to me at all during the day. Cheers, Andrew.
  14. That's okay... no-one wanted you there anyway 16 People on the list now... I'll be updating the booking tomorrow night!
  15. I'll only be running 1.3-1.4 bar... That's all these turbos are made for... They're a lot smaller than your T517z-10cm2 turbos... I'm hoping for 300-ish @ the wheels, so we'll see if the response and mid-range make up for the lack of top end... Here's hoping!
  16. I'm just waiting to get my conrods and injectors back from testing, and then I'm all set to go :) I'll even try to get my car down to Melbourne to do a comparison dyno day with you guys if it's feasible! Great result Jack!
  17. Okay, My entry is in... My car should still be on the road next weekend...
  18. I love your car... I want to violate it's exhaust pipe
  19. Interesting isn't it? More R32 GTRs than R33 GTRs these days... I wonder how many of those at 1989 GTRs
  20. Weaksauce, 600x300x115 or bust!!!
  21. SOLD. Thanks for the enquiries guys!
  22. All GTRs should have the same wheels front and back. NONE should have staggered wheels like that. That's probably why he sold them, as those wheels are meant for a RWD car such as Silvia/GTS-t/Cefiro/etc....
