The SEVS listing is for NEW R35's... which means the car has to be sold as a NEW car by a local reseller. Its not a used import approval, which is what RAW's deal with when importing cars like R34's, V35's etc. An R35 should cost about $120,000 PLUS compliance cost from my calculations (keeping in mind the luxury car tax you have to pay on it). Now as with any car that has limited number of compliancers (eg ferrari's and masserati's) the compliance cost isn'tgonna be $2500 like an R33 Skyline... think much bigger numbers. No USED R35's are allowed for import under the current approvals. Used imports will only be allowed if Nissan fail to sell an R35 locally within 18 months of it being available for sale anywhere else in the world.

I'll have a look for you tomorrow when I'm at the workshop. I know the S14 LCA and R33 GTSt LCA are identical (you have to drill a hole in an R33 LCA to do the 5 stud conversion on an S13). So I bet the R32 and S13 are pretty similar.

Pics as promised: As you can tell the cover's pretty much suited to only coupe shaped R32's and possibly R33's. There's been quite some interest in the car cover all at once, so whoever offers the most will get it I suppose.

yeah "metal polishing" is what you want... or you can have it chemically cleaned too... most electroplating places should be able to help you out with that.

lol my bad, jsut checked the SEVS listing and F50's are listed as used cars, its Y50 Fuga's that are new. d'oh. So being listed as a New Import, does that mean that whoever imports the car has to sell it as their own product? so for example the Carizma GT-R? I'm assuming Nissan would then sue the pants off anyone selling it as their own product?

if that's the case, then how are F50 Cima's coming into the country through RAWS?
