  1. my old man's ceffy runs an RB20DET and an AFM with no BOV from factory, and its worked fine for the last 16 years.
  2. don't make me drag out all the pics of you on your knees. somehow I don't think that's pure CF. what about D-max ones?
  3. lol yeah the plain one looks miles better. too curvy up front and square in the back. might look better blended in... make sure you post "after" shots.
  4. lol i'll concede that I've never got any carbon products or interior bits off em, only bodykits. fitment on that door skin is kinda shocking... maybe they just hung it on there for the pic... altho it does look clipped in. but then why would you want such a heavy chunk of fibreglass (with a layer of cf on top for looks) on your race car? just strip the door and rivet on some aluminium sheeting... add knee pad and you're good to go.
  5. my R32 GTS made 91rwkw on an SAU dyno day many years ago... only to be outdone by Jamezilla's Lada for lowest reading of the day (I'm sure he's still got the trophy he got for it too). So there's no shame in giving the N/A a run. It'll be fun.
  6. lol no doubt about its benefits to handling and centre of gravity. but thus far most japanese cars have kept to a certain size restriction to make owning one in japan easier for the consumer. just keep in mind a large chunk of affluent people live in the cities in japan. parking space is limited, heavily regulated, and expensive, and the R35 isn't the be all to end all supercar, its just a $80,000 car. people park more expensive mercs on the street. crime's not quite the same there as it is here.
  7. lol it could almost pass for a sydneysider's daily driver... its pink... and it has bold claims all over it that it does hektik circle work. nice work with the car. look forward to seeing it run. have you guys sorted out the speed restrictions?
  8. it should fit any coupe R32 as the interior cabin is the same dimensions. ahh if its japanese it wont have aussie certs. good luck with sale.
  9. lol no DAMD did a better job of copying the aston: http://www.damd.co.jp/products/nissan/skyline01_bm.html if that's the case then I'd say the lotus 7 came first its even got teh arch...
  10. nice 180sx, and nice wheel fitment... miester's will def look nice on it. could go a lil lower
  11. hmm depending on what's on offer, and if you guys can negotiate relocation costs etc with the client, I might be interested in a job in maybe june-ish. I'm mostly in the Web development part of IT (PHP, ruby etc), but I majored in artificial intelligence (lol yeah random).
  12. lol the tissue box would be painted sooner if someone got off his ass n prepped the car *cough*andrew*cough*slackass*cough*
  13. and some underpants on the outside. just keep in mind that "some" means like a handful. an endless supply is a business.
  14. ┌( ಠ_ಠ)┘ YOU I'm not playing this game any more
  15. easier to find R33 GTSt wheels than R32 GTSt for sure, as the 33 ones came on S14's and other nissans. I'd say $200 for a set... no more.
  16. hahaha I see your volvo and raise you a dunnydoor
  17. one piece nose/front bumper? like the old WRX?
  18. how many admins does it take to make a mod look out of place?
  19. Audi.
  20. as far as I can tell from a book I've read recently its 1985 August. its called "world car guide Vol 25: Skyline" by Neko Publishing. First RB engine was an RB20E according to it, equipped in an R31 E-HR31 sedan. I'll do some digging in my japanese books and see what else I can find. The english wiki's kinda off on a few things I've found in the past... seems to agree with what I've read on this one. edit: the only other thing I could find of any importance was that the RD28 (12 valve SOHC diesel variant of the RB engine) was released in the Y30 Cedric/Gloria in June 1985, although it was developed concurrently with the RB engines. Also an LPG carby fed RB called and RB20P was released in June 1987.
  21. the warnings are only there to point out problematic users... if you hit 100% warn it doesn't mean you'll get automatically banned or anything, it just means when you screw up the mods will show less leniency.
  22. yeah that auto shift kit is absolute gold for you. you weren't that far off a certain silver S2 R33 with a full tune either
  23. think he means expanded metal mesh... not that stuff. http://www.sankey.com.au/SK_Products_for_B...l_Products.html I got an offcut of it for my front bar at a local metal scrapper (just give em 5 bucks to rip it off a security screen. Just make sure you get the micro mesh in aluminium so its light, doesn't corrode and is fine enough to stop large rocks hitting your intercooler.
  24. can I get a price for H4 hi/lo's?
  25. awww I think you just dashed sam's hopes of making a friend who also speaks American.
