  1. reverse engineering forum software while trying not to break the forum takes a little bit more thinking than changing avatars Will give it another stab tonight. If it dosen't work, I'll just make it change all emails sent by the server to "dezz is ghey".
  2. no no, that was in reference to ebola... he seems to be checking his email using a unix file structure don't worry... unix joke.
  3. they're on their toightest setting, and still spongy. so its time for a reco/turf'n'buy. Just trying to weigh up the options. Whiteline seems to sell the rears for $160 a pair (or is it each). They're the same as a silvia, so shouldn't be a hassle to find. The fronts are a lot more expensive from the looks of it... I've noticed its mostly spongy at the back (weight of the engine might be affecting the front from being spongy) so could I get away with changing just the back ones?
  4. 80A from memory. My experiences with my dad's ceffy, which has an RB20DET as well. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=133576
  5. The red one's a NICS engine and the silver one's a Plazma engine from memory. Altho the series 1 cefiro's had silver top NICS engines (fun fun fun) They use different AFMs, alternators and ECU plugs, but its not that hard to modify em to work with the silvertop ancillaries.
  6. I'll get some soft wood when I get some free time and carve out a plug of the badge. here's what I'll be using for the design... altho I'd like a GTR badge to use as reference... I can only get R32 ones. I'll mock up a GTt design soon... but the T of the GTt is lowercase from memory... so it might not look right... might have to settle for an "GTT" instead.
  7. get em made up in chrome... if you want a red S all you have to do is go to bunnings and get some glass tinting paint and DIY... will give you a metallic red S.
  8. sorry guys, got unexpectedly busy. starting to send out PM's now. I'll give each one of you guys a total.
  9. Regular crime fighter he is these days... maybe its a crossover or something... next thing you know they'll have drifting mechadroids
  10. done that once in a hire car... didn't roll it tho that was fun.
  11. duude. you should start using a mail client instead of saving your emails as files
  12. oh shit... sorry huddy, thought you meant ECU, not AFM. yeah AFM's at least $100.
  13. lol that's the car I bought when it came up for sale in japan... then nikora (inark) wanted it so he paid for it and I used the money I had paid to buy my GTS4... then once it was here, Jairus (JT) drifted it in the drift nationals etc. so he bought it off inark, and then he blew the RB26 at a comp... and last I heard to was with Benny who was tuning it or something. That cef's been whored around sooo much. JT also almost got arrested driving from melb to adel for a comp in it with no rego I've got a tonne of pics of it somewhere...
  14. is that the hoddle st entrance? I saw a supra (older shape) rolled near there a while back.
  15. just keep it. you'll never know when you'll need it if you get pulled up on it by the cops.
  16. wierdest one ever... yet strangely I want to paint my haw-chee-raw-kew to look the same.
  17. make sure you get the numberplates "Frankenstien" wouldn't the AFM signals be different though, as the R32 and A31 AFM's are different?
  18. i'll give ya 20 bucks for it.
  19. there's a thread about japanese police cars that we all posted pics in a while ago... might come up if you search (make sure you search for all threads instead of just 30 days coz it was a while ago). There's also a couple of pics on the interweb of a JGTC looking R34 in police decals... it also has a fake machine gun mounted on it... if you come across it, its not real, was a promo car for a japanese police car driving game.
  20. yeah toyed with the idea of havin the old C10 look badge. I mean... if you really wanted you could get the standard GTS badge (not the sticker, all skylines R32 onwards came with the option of badges or stickers) and recolour the S in red.
  21. GTR badge for reference:
  22. The GTS badge that krzysiu posted up is the one I didn't like because it looks blatantly fake. here's one of the the vector designs I used for making the SAU logo ages ago. I made the S sorta using the same curves and dimensions as the font of the original GTR logo. Its fairly easy for me to swap the R with the S to make up a GTS logo, the only problem is converting that concept to a prototype for a badge. Also something to note is that the R32 GTR logo is different to the R33 and R34 ones, the one I've done is based on the R34. So guys with R32 GTS' might not like em (if you're as pedantic as me about these things). I've done some casting and resin work before, so I'll give it a shot, and see if I can knock out a prototype.
  23. I thought it looked like a shrunken down honda oddesey?
  24. reprogrammed chipsets usually only change the fuel map data. So even though the car may be able to handle aftermarket turbo's and aftermarket injectors with the remapped ECU, the gear shifts would still technically be programmed to factory RPM's etc. Reprogramming this too might not be that simple.
  25. one of us... one of us... one of us... hehe personally I'd have kept the chaser, but teh cef's just as cool. Hopefully I get to see it at driftline gettin mods soon.
