  1. yudy id go 2860r's over highflow gtr turbos anyday mate, i had highflows on my old 26 engine setup and they are not even close to as good as the 2860r's from the reports ive seen. one particular gtr in perth makes over 500rwhp with the 2860's and lag is non existant (same as stock turbos). the cost of highflowing was about 2.5k or so which makes it not worth it. go the 2860r turbos cheers Brad

  8. hey guys i got some valve springs with blue on the bottom of them and the gtr stock ones i got have white bottoms same as it says in the workshop manual. now what type are these blue ones? are they even from an rb26? i measured the stock gtr ones compared to the blue ones. the blue one have a coil metal thickness of 4.9mm the white ones from stock gtr are 4.7mm the gtr stock ones are wayyy softer to press down and blue ones are really strong in comparision. any ideas how i can find out? anyone seen blue ones before? do the stock inlet and exhuast springs look the same? and do the retainers on the inlet or the exhuast use a washer to compensate for the length on one of the two sides? the pic on the right is a stock gtr one on the left and blue one on the right cheers

  13. as topic brand new unused blitz dual sbc type R... heres the info from nengun site about it and differences between type r and type s models... "The Dual Solenoid Boost Controller Spec R (DSBC Spec R) has four programmable boost settings or various levels of boost. This unit features a built-in boost gauge, peak boost display, four different boost settings, boost warning, scramble boost, and a boost limiter safety feature to prevent over boosting. The DSBC Spec R uses a dual solenoid design for maximum boost response. This unit is capable of handling boost up to 2.5bar (36psi). The DSBC Spec R is 1/4 din in size and is compatible with internal actuators and external wastegates. This unit is available in a silver case with an green LCD display. The difference between the DSBC Spec R and Spec S is the solenoid design. Spec R uses dual solenoid while the Spec S uses a single solenoid design." *SOLD* im in perth too, ill post interstate though cheers Brad

  15. how can the rear window washer motor be wrong? surely any washer motor will work with the 2 wires connected. i got both washer motors sitting in my garage doing nuthin (cant fit washer bottle with cooler piping), but i might need them later on. how about buy a new one stagea girl from nissan? they wont be much $$$ i'd imagine.
  16. the attessa fluid bottle in boot is supposed to be above max when ignition is turned off, turn the ignition on and it will show the correct fluid level.
  17. thats soo true, who the hell decided plastic clips were a good idea when after a few years they go brittle as shit and just smash when u try and remove them
  18. the 260rs's even have a rb25det engine plate on the firewall as they were transplanted after they come from nissan as a rb25 car (without engine). i found this on a 260rs for sale in perth and almost assumed it was a fake, but it wasnt and now a member on here owns it.
  19. as topic says i got these parts from my rb26 engine setup which i have never used since buying a few months ago and still remain unused in the boxes. parts are ready to be picked up and saves the 4 week wait from nengun, etc. Power fc d-jetro (non afm'd version) with hand controller, 1x harness, 2 x map sensors (all the parts needed to run on a rb26 engine) - *SOLD* blitz dual sbc spec r (dual solenoid for upto 36psi) - *SOLD* splitfire coilpacks x 6 (sf dis-001)- $550 firm also got a gtr engine wiring loom for $200 which is used but good condition. PM me for my contact details if interested and they can be picked up tommorow or anytime
  20. mines in the only spot i could find and i dont know whether rb25 engine bays have room here but its a good little spot. its next to battery and fuse box, i got the catch can made from a local shop to my dimensions and looks a treat and fits perfect. im not sure if rocker cover breathers come out in suitable spots for that location. i put a drain from catch can back into the sump on mine but u need a fitting welded onto sump to do it, or make a tee peice into your dipstick tube for the return hose. its not vital but saves having to empty it ever, though a good engine shouldnt pump oil through except maybe a fine mist when on fullboost. as u can see i had to slide my battery over towards the drivers side gaurd abit but its still mounted using factory battery clamp and all so its not hard to do.
