260rs Owneres I Need Your Help!
CruiseLiner replied to stasis's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
hey yudy no sorry i dont have any suspension as i sold it awhile ago and it wasnt stock stuff anyways. plus mine isnt a 260rs remember so it was only rs four gear surely that brake pads price of 2k is a mistake??? cant u get a set off yahoo auctions japan? i only paid $1800 for 2 r34 gtr front calipers (brand new unused) and brand new brembo pads from yahoo auctions about 12 months ago so that means i got a free set of calipers in the deal plus $200 off the pads (thats only front pads and calipers, not the rears) worth a try, unless you need them within 2 weeks or so as all japan stuff takes around a month to arrive usually. checkout slidewize imports sponsored section and ask him if he can sort some out for ya hope it helps Brad -

Stagea Manual Conversion Guide
CruiseLiner replied to tRUkbOY's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
hey trukboy the auto ecu is actually inside the engine ecu if u look on the stagea service manual. unlike the r33 gts-ts its all one unit. the ecu in the rear cargo area is the abs/attessa ecu so dont touch that one either. im surprised it runs using the auto ecu, i bought a manual ecu for my stagea rb25 engine when i chucked it in my old vl commodore to sell because the workshop said they wont run on the auto ecu. the joys of dealing with workshops who know jackshit and glen u dont have to hardwire the attessa with a pfc because it plugs into the factory wiring meaning the attessa is still all hooked up to the pfc already i dont know about a r33 engine wiring harness plugginf straight into the factory stagea non-ecu related plugs but. ive had to chop all the gtr plugs for tacho dash and stuff because they dont match the stagea plugs in the car. -

that was the comments i said were spot on, not about the rb30, about all the bitching and people who dont pick up a spanner and brag they have built the biggest beasts on the road. do u pay a workshop to change your oil buster??? what about check your sparkplugs? can one of the moderators close and even delete this thread because i dont want anyone to know anything anymore and am not posting about it anymore so its just a pointless thread. thanks to the supporters who know what its like to have problems and not just bitches who pay with a cheque book. pete ill send u pm soon to let u know mate who wants a gts-t r33 buster theres only 5000000000 of them on the f**kin road mate how about getting something that every man and his dog doesnt have. are u insecure or what? are you 17 years old or just act like it? do u want a gold plated medal to prove how popular and cool you are? your just a shitstirrer and thats it! -
http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=106775&hl= thats the stock internal rb25 thread

Another Heartbreaking Got Defected Last Nite Story.
CruiseLiner replied to ODessA's topic in General Automotive Discussion
they wonder why cops have a bad reputation and i have always found the women are the worst offenders, and usually the men are polite and show some maturity in 99% of cases. they are jus upset they arn't as high in society as the males so they gotta take it out on anyone they can and thats most likely the reason they become cops because then they got the power to act like arseholes and boss around males. i think most female cops i see should have joined the army the way they act. why do they always have to make it like they got something to prove? just my 2 cents and good luck mate, i woulda opened my mouth before u did and let some harsh words out from pure frustration. and no i dont hate cops just the ones with a chip of their shoulder -

S1 R33 Gts-t Vs 05 Crewman S
CruiseLiner replied to _Victory_'s topic in General Automotive Discussion
v6 or v8 crewman? do all the v8 commodores use the ls2 now? they are a pretty bloody quick engine from what ive heard. v6's are lame i'd imagine and the gts-t would win if u can drive -
i hope your good at fabrication or its gonna end up alot of money on labour as everything is gonna be made as a one off, like the blower bracket and other bits and pieces, and $60 per hour adds up quickly if moneys an issue i reckon a rb25 conversion would be a cheaper alternative and better but i know u want something different, but a good vortex blower is pricey, and my dads t-trim cost around 5-6k from memory and thats without brackets etc. the whole kit installed at a shop was 10k and thats with all parts that bolt staight on. (we ended up installing it at home but the kit was still around 7k or so) the t-trim is the higher rated version for 13psi or something, and the lower s-trim is only rated to 8 or 9psi. being different costs money and lots of r&d unfortunately. what happens if u spend 6k on the setup and its shocking to drive? its a big gamble in the end. sorry dude im not trying to put you off im just telling u the possible outcomes

arhh k sorry dude i wasnt 100% sure thats why i asked hehe -
these things look damn ugly and i almost threw up when i saw one in person. nissan are getting worse and worse for decent lookin designs
-
any stereo shop, just ask em for a convertor for a nissan import radio and they will have them. im unsure of the exact name off the top of my head sorry. i dont think i'd bother as the radio is rather crap and cheaper cd units are gonna be 100 times better anyway just my 2 cents worth Brad

i found my vibration issue anyway bloody diff mounting bolts were bottoming out before the diff was tight against the body making it loose as hell and i installed some more rubbers and its beautiful now so i took the damn box out for nuthin also sorted my clutch issues as per the other thread so it was a rather productive weekend all round in the end thanks for the help Brad
-
yep u definately would have a longer fork by the looks of it. longer fork means u need more travel so i doubt u could use a longer fork and a nismo slave together as the nismo wouldnt have enough travel to disengage it i'd imagine. also my clutch is awesome now with the new gtr slave cylinder (3/4) and the vacuum booster is now fixed as someone had previously put the wrong size o-ring on to seal it and it was leaking. i also adjusted the pushrod inside the vacuum booster abit longer to gain more travel on the slave feels beautiful to drive now and it even rattles alot less which is a benefit thanks for all the info peoplz Brad

you are running the resistor pack arn't you? -
from my limited experience with a vn group a ss with a vortex t -trim blower it makes boost linear to the rpm and they sound absolutely crazy when winding up i think the 4agze one would run out of puff up top for sure and hence the drop off of power at low rpm because they are only made for a 1.6L engine. thats my useless 2 cents

My Stagea Rb27 On Cardomain.com
CruiseLiner replied to CruiseLiner's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
thanks guys and alex that amount of 45k was before i did the engine build i might add, and ill just say the engine rebuild (not the rb26 just the rebuild of it) and supporting hardware is worth almost about the same as the initial car and rb26 conversion so its not cheap but u get what u pay for and every single part on that car is brand new and the engine parts were choosen by the owner of JUN in japan for a jun distributor workshop in perth (deal went wrong and i bought the parts off them) and it was garantueed to make 800rwhp with a t78 turbo and thats just on a reasonable tune, these engines with a t88 are made for over 1200-1300hp and 11000rpm+ GTR-700 gtr runs the jun 2.7l crank and jun gear and has ran a 8.273 @ 167.76 mph using VeilSide GT-3542 (x2) turbos so they are even beating the os giken 3L gtr's hoping for a low boost tune later this week if the shop isnt too busy and thats on about 18psi and around 450-500rwhp is the goal for a safe figure to save the fragile gtr gearbox. i cant wait is all i can say heres a list of the worlds fastest 4wd records at the drags on slicks... 1st HKS Japan Nissan Skyline R33 GTR 7.671 181.98 mph HKS GT3540R (x2) 2nd Avance Japan Nissan Skyline R32 GTR 8.119 171 mph MHI TD06-25G (x2) 3rd www.exvitermini.com Australia Nissan Skyline R33 GTR 8.273 167.76 mph VeilSide GT-3542 (x2) so 3rd fastest in the world is a jun stroker EDIT: that exvitermini site was Last updated: 26-July-2005 so its a year old but u get the idea none the less.
