haah sorry roy i wasnt meaning it against rb20 owners i meant the people who dribble about the best setup is this and this for an hour to only find they have a stock rb20 or 25 with 0 mods. they are the people who reckon they have the best ideas but they just got no money to do it and then bag the shit of other people who actually can do it and say "oh but y the waste of money crank when u coulda got a rb30 bottom end" etc. if u dont like dont say nuthin. thanks -

hey mate thanks for the support, it is alot like that around perth too, too many bitches on the bandwagon who dont know jack shit and are all talk and never picked up a spanner in there entire lifetime. i just dont bother posting anything about my car and never will again, its just too much bullshit. i suppose the only way to find info is from rumours, which dont take long to spread around here also. good luck to the internet mechanics i say, let them dream about putting a pod filter on their dead stock rb20 ahah -

series 1 and series 2 are almost identical except the series 2 has a couple of extra pins that are used. so that r34 english diagram tells ya pretty much every pin and what it does found the 3 wires from the engine ecu to the attessa ecu. pin 5 - tachometer drive signal (blue/white) pin 37 - throttle opening signal (purple/white) pin 43 - sensor ground (orange/blue) finally after 12 months of hunting i have some reliable info on the pinouts -

dunno yet, considering im paying for them and then everyone else wants them for nuthin, if others pay for other sections to veiw ill possibly do a swap for another section, as im getting it from the new zealand website that translate manuals, and its $5 a section, so buy some other diagrams i havent got and ill swap for sure slowly everyone will build up more and more info on stageas then for a quarter of the cost of buying all the manual pages myself. -
very nice indeed, but attempting a 4wd 2jz would be difficult having to make an adaptor plate for the 4wd sump/diff housing to go on the bottom of the 2jz. plus the need for a custom bellhousing using the gtr 5 speed box and transfer case. exhuast is on the wrong side as well. ive always thought about a vh45 from the infinity (v8) but no manual gearboxes match up and being non-turbo makes power upgrades expensive. though the torque of the v8 would be perfectly suited to the heavy and large frame of the stagea. i still think the stagea needs a big capacity engine to make the most of it. 3 Litres + is ideal. plenty of options, its just deciding which ones are more worthwhile.

i think the fact he is a moderator in other sections (especially the for sale one) is pretty f*kt up, and warns of potential scammers hehe, sounds familiar to me. i reckon every single member who has paid and got nuthin should email or PM Prank the forum owner and let him know and ask for his moderating privilages to be removed if he treats forum members like idiots. i am currently waiting on a copy of the stagea rb25 ecu pinouts in english as well, plus a couple of other very handy wiring diagrams for abs, etc. few days and i should have them for sure. im paying good money for these but i need them to finish my wiring off. how about some fellow eastern staters go round and give funky a house visit and a friendly reminder that he owes about 14 different people money or a CD each -

there's always tommorow guys dont get soo upset its only a few months late -
mine was making 350rwhp+ with rb26, highflow turbos, autronics smc, exhuast , pods, 18psi and only revvin to a low 7k rpm, and the turbos were shit i found out with similiar lag to a t04z on a rb26 infact. so power was still climbing at revlimiter. so i'd say high 300 rwhp which wasnt bad at all. my new engine is abit different to a stock rb26 though, considering the only original parts in the engine are the block and head castings, thats it, everything else is aftermarket pretty much. i cant see any problem with 500rwhp on 17-18psi max and over 600rwhp when we turn the boost up properly. just gotta sort this power fc install and i'll be one step closer once it makes full power in the stagea i might be changing the motor into something else (r32 gts-t, etc) as a track car and put stagea back to rb25 or try something different with it, i wouldnt mind a 2jz auto in the stag just in 2wd mode as a daily run around.

wonder how a 2jz in the stagea would go (2wd only) with auto, when i put the 26 into another lighter car. so who is gonna do the first 2jz 4wd gtr, surely someone will do it considering ive seen a full gtr 4wd setup installed into a vl commodore which would be 100 times more work than modifying the rb26 box to fit on the back of the 2jz and the 4wd sump to suit the 2jz. thumbs up for an awesome job got any photos of the x-member and engine mounts? -
mate i feel so sorry for you, 2 cars in 12 months is not good at all did they both get stolen from the same location exactly? good luck and hope all goes well and u find these scum who steal peoples pride and joy
