  1. i was only joking, i just found the 4wd is in the top spot rather than in the bottom corner as in the diagram, plus my abs is missing a wire to it, does anyone happen to know the colour of the wire goin to the abs fuse under the dash (i highly doubt anyone would but worth a try)??? anyone in perth want to bring their stagea round and let me check some wiring colours would be awesome and ill promise to take them for a drive in mine once its going properly. if i had the stagea harness complete as well it would be easy but my stagea harness got hacked and wires are everywhere and i dont know what wires are for what the 3 wire colours for the 4wd connection to the attessa ecu would also be handy cheers Brad
  2. awesome cheers guys i just wanted assurance that they are correct just looking and that "rear wiper" one on the top vertical section is 4wd as it even says soo in english on the japanese diagram and the colours match 4wd relays so i think thats not right. ill send ya the bill if it aint jk thanks Brad
  3. no worries, i just dont like taking things for granted until im 100% positive after a similiar problem a while ago with my autronics cdi wiring which cost me 2 dyno trips and hours of stuffing around. thanks anyway mate ill let u guys know if they are correct or not soon enough
  4. also that fusebox label is missing the 4wd fuse thats above the dash, fuel pump fuses and running parralel to the rest of the fuses. so i dont know if the other 4wd fuse is actually 4wd or not??? also while im at it, whats the "de-icer" (not demister as its got that already on another fuse)??? who reckons if i started ripping all the auto wiring out it wouldnt run properly and things stop workin??? more wiring in that damn car than a 747 plane.
  5. thats the one, but the wires on the back of the fuses for rear tailights or whatever (as an example) actually relate to the colours of the air con relay in the engine bay fusebox. so i dont know whats wrong, but i aint trusting that diagram one bit at the moment, dont wanna cook a brand new $1600 pfc now
  6. hey paul cheers for that, so a regular oil pressure guage will be fine with a 0-100psi readout or does the pressure go higher than 100psi? also on the r32 system vs the later model ones that hold the pressure.. does that mean the r32 gtr would read 0 psi when not operating 4wd and r33 and 34's would still have how much pressure when in 2wd?

  8. hey guys im putting a power fc into my stagea rb26 and im using the rb26 pfc for obvious reasons, only thing is i sold the dropping resistor thing for the injectors ages ago (as i was running autronics smc), so do i need it with the power fc or can i run it without it? do i need to select different settings if i run it without it ? any info appreciated Brad
  9. slightly offtopic but is it better to run the oil cooler inline with the remote filter or have 2 Y pieces off the engine sandwich plate and run them seperately? as i thought otherwise thermostat wouldnt work without blocking the engines oil supply if it was inline???

  13. hey cyrus im pretty sure the fuse box diagram for in the car i have and they all seem wrong too me, like the wire colours are totally different in the engine bay fuse box to what it says for in the car. was the translation done by someone who knows japanese or they just guessing?? post it up and ill see if its the same one. i need this workshop manual dammit and work from that for some idea on whats what. thanks everyone for helping too.   16. come on alex the commment on $1000 for brake pads not being much on a $40k car is pretty wrong. i would have dropped dead if i got my brembo calipers and found i needed pads and they are $1000 and ive spent double the price of an autech stagea on mine. as stasis said the money is better off going towards other stuff. $1000 is bullshit, i'll be buying aftermarket once my set is worn away. my nissan dealer is pretty good, they dont mind letting ya go in the office and help them find parts on the FAST program as 99% of the time they dont have a clue what u are after hehe
  17. hey mate its in the engine bay fuse box, its between the sunroof relay and the headlamp relays. i highlighted the FICD relay with a red arrow. maybe it stands for " fuel injection control device" or something as i know the gtr's have something similiar but with a different name. also whats the motor fan??? the fan in front of the air con radiator unit??? whats engine control as well??
  18. hey paul do u happen to have a pic of how u plumb in a pressure line off the main hydraulic line??? sounds like a damn good idea and worthwhile as i dont even have a torque split gauge in mine (stagea).
  19. hey guys i been stuffin round with my stagea wiring today and i got the translated fuse box lid for the fuses under the dash and i think who ever made it has it all wrong, though i cant be sure. where it says the 4wd fuse is, i have no terminals in that spot at all and the 4wd one is at the top and by itself. and some wires in the engine bay box dont match colours of ones in the interior fuse box. so somethings not right... anyone care to check the translations with someone who can speak abit of japanese??? also whats the relay in the engine bay fuse box that says "FICD" for???? has anyone buggered around with the stagea ecu wiring and stuff or am i the only one??? one big nightmare hehe. cheers Brad
  20. hey i think for the excessive delays that funky should pay for a translation of the ecu pinouts to help us all out if i dont get it monday or tuesday i want my money back, this is getting worse than it was. glad i havent needed the manual up until now which i need before i can install my new ecu.
  21. sorry to go offtopic abit but i have a gtr sump and front diff for sale for anyone interested in the motor for a 4wd application. im in Perth WA so freight will be abit as its damn heavy. i want $300 ono for the sump/diff complete + freight costs ontop of that cheers

  23. hey guys im currently workin on installing a r32/33 gtr pfc djetro (non-AFM version) and im sorting all the wiring and what needs to be hooked up etc. ive spent 2 full days workin on the wiring diagram from a gtr to track down the 4wd wires, air con, and all the non engine related plugs and find what to hook them too in the stagea harnesses. ill update as i go and when i finally sort it all ill post a guide on installing it if i feel like giving away all my hard work and info i find the joys of workin things out yourself without asking people, and no one in perth has stagea wiring diagrams so im left using a multimeter and spendin hours under the dash area tracking whats what under there. also my autronics smc ecu thats in at the moment was hooked up by a butcher and i have about 20 wires just not connected to anything so i gotta sort them out too. fun fun fun cheers Brad
