Why burgundy? I always liked that XR Red from a couple of years ago, had some tough name. But yeah, nice bright red with big yellow calipers!

If I can get out of Wedding Cake testing at 2pm I'll come down in the scooby.

OK guys, I got my car tinted at Tint-a-car Doncaster yesterday (couldn't wait, sorry!). I asked them about group pricing and they said 10 cars would be looking at $200-250 for Formula One - and they can remove old tint. They can also do 20% (as opposed to 35% normally). What do you reckon?

Modified Chickens?! 19" wheels for traction?! Fark... Looking back at the original question which I assume is comparing your STOCK imported 93-98 GTST and a STOCK Aussie-delivered 99 Rex: Rex wins.

Congratulations, very nice. Not a big fan of the kit though - only because the factory kit is one of the best around! Are you going to become a member? If so, it would great to have the car in the calendar, probably along side the other two 34s.

Very nice, very clean, well done! Now all you have to do is stop taking photos in your driveway!

It's an absolute beauty. -
Yeah I heard that too, 23 yo owner managed to do that trying to "avoid" an accident.

Great work, Adz. They've come out tops! What kind of resolution do you get back from the lab?

Each time I see the forward, the details change. I live literally around the corner off Grimshaw St. and I haven't heard or read anything in the local paper.

What sort of dealership allows an 19 year old to test drive a brand new Clubsport anyway?
-
Bit of a "forward" going around at the moment... "This is what's left of a new VY HSV Clubsport at the Watson Holden in Bundoora dealers after a 19 year old test drove it last week. He was driving it back and was going WAY too fast around the corner, up the gutter, travelled the 10 metres to the gates, mounted some cars and landed as you see."

Sunburnt...again. Crazy thing is after all the events we've had this summer - WHY HAVEN'T WE LEARNT ANYTHING? Good to see everyone in their shirts, bar me of course, still wearing an 04 Autosalon shirt. Fixed that up though thanks to James' car boot sale. My photos were pretty disappointing when I got home - just what I needed after frying in the sun for a few hours! I'll clean up a few and give them to you Pete but no credit for those. That said, RiggaP has some fine photos there at the beginning of the post. Good work.

I'm up for tinting, but not through Tint Professor.

Across the road at my place (Greensborough)...happened at 4am.

Wow...I drive down there every day but I went past at 10am. Any news?

Saying no to a Skyline...again. :(

The price isn't really an issue as long as it comes out under 30-35k. Subaru still don't have a test vehicle for me....I might just buy the Mazda 3 out of boredom waiting. -

I do like the Jazz, can't beat that fuel economy. Really nice inside too. The Pulsar felt really cheap, like I would break off the gear shift within a couple of days. -

It's definitely not an easy choice between the RS and SP23. I am still swaying towards the RS though - mainly for the AWD (safety, traction, cornering etc.) and I personally feel it will be more fun. I'm not too worried about the servicing costs. -

I wouldn't say the SP23 is heads and shoulders above the rest: SP23 - 2.3L / 115kw / 203nm / FWD Impreza RS - 2.5L / 112kw / 223nm / AWD Basically the same interior space and features. As for an Astra, as much as I do like them it's a Holden. -

That would be great, except it's still a Mazda.
