  1. +1 for this, i'm just curious to find out if the jjr's are good for relatively high powered applications i.e. 400kw'ish i am interested in buying some but would like to see how they perform first... don't know if adequate spark delivery is much of an issue on rb's once u get high power figures

I'd be ringing head office and having a whinge, i'm yet to see an ultranoob ad which says "we reserve the right to turn down import owners" but yeh, i'd just get your sender checked out, mine dies sometimes too for a while then fixes itself Also akmal was crud today, he dissed out maori's and it was just like a 30 minute ring up and whinge session, i've converted to hamish and andy on 101.9
  4. yeh, it's ghey, i got 2 points left (lost my first 3 for back P plate falling off on my corolla) and obviously i cant drive my gtr, but my valiant is right on the limit, some books state over some under it, and im too scared to drive it because if a cop does the maths he might come up with the higher figures and i'll lose my licence suxx
  5. yeh i managed to get it in, sorta fits, just had to snap the surround in 2 places so it'd be bent like the stock one

  7. Dude my handbrake boot doesn't fit onto my 32 gtr. The surround that you are supposed to clip in is the same rough shape but the surround on the standard boot has a 90 degree bend at the back of it (that goes down) and yours are totally flat all the way around so they cant fit.. i've tried lots of different ways but it's the wrong shape so it won't clip in and looks shiet :S maybe the gts-t is different?
  8. i thought s13's weren't LSD's (they're single spinners)? The standard 32 diffs are viscous LSD's

  11. attessa is the variable torque split controller isn't it? The thing that sets power to the front when u lose traction Why do ppl remove the Hicas on the GTR's? Because it is problem prone or because some people can tell the difference on a track with the rear wheel steering? I never removed it on my gtst but was always curious as to exactly how unstable it made the car feel as compared to without it
  12. I thought the Neo models had the larger housing? the Neo turbo i had on my old car definitely had it
  13. My experience is the opposite, all the cars i've been in that do spike or that have some amount of variance in boost, boost higher in 3rd/4th as opposed to 1st and normally by a few psi
  14. Boots recieved today, they pretty well made, different types of leather used on each corner on one of them which looks a bit shiet but they're great for $55
  15. i got 185 across all six in my GTR which makes no sense to me because that's too high even if they were taken when the engine was hot/cold.. plox explain sum1?
  16. hehehe well.. 4 door is more convenient i had these buttons too.. didn't have the stock front bar so i used to pretend they worked..
  17. um so flat 14 for teh gtr.... OK thanks that explains why it doesn't feel as fast as my old one (once i had 34 turbs installed) That also puts sti's into gts-t territory, 14.5ish (well except for take off obviously) oO Guess the gtr is as fast as my old one flat sticking it in 2nd/3rd which explains why i wasn't happy with it.. guess it's twin 2860 time then
  18. they are shiet.. well the older ones, the newer renesis editions are pretty good.. the older ones wear the apex seals alot that was the main problem, but if these are replaced with some decent aftermarket ones then thats one of the main 13b related problems out of the way.. The engines are awesome though

Hey, just to bump this up, i got a r32gtr and it doesn't really seem very fast at all.. gts-t seemeed much faster >.< Can anyone make a rough estimate as to what time it would see in RWD and then in AWD (unfused and fused), keeping in mind the extra kilograms and such.. i'm just trying to figure out the difference a 6k clutch dump and lotsa traction in a gtr makes over a 3k drop in a RWD car (to avoid slippage), am talking over a 1/4 of a mile Also r32 gts-t hit 14.5ish and r32 gts-4's hit around 15 flat right? sup with that.. the awd certainly isn't an advantage over the 1/4 with those two.

  24. On the up side ford are replacing there crappy 8's with jaguar engines in 2010.. hopefully they'll be some competition for the ls2 powered ss's by then
