ballocks, need to go away this weekend, but need car roadworthy by next thursday when my 14 days are up, this sucks, am gonna have to take it to a mech zz

Anyone know if Gearbox leaks = RWC issue? i have been told yes by my mechanic but he a bit of a wang and i can't see why they would be thanks ^^ am trying to get my car on the road asap

Ah, i was thinking maybe it was the rubber hose, but the flange would make more sense considering it's on those little brass pipes above, i'll yank it off tomorrow, hopefully it's as you say and i can use your lil write up thanks

Seems to be just the hose, but it's going to be a bitch taking it to a mechanic and having them quote me some crazy price because it has a turbo on it, might try fix it myself irregardless of my lack of prac work with turbos

+1 except i thought only the early 89ish ones (bnr32's) were the true godzilla's and the newer ones (bcnr32?? i cant remember model numbers) were pretty much the same things, with a few improvements and not quite the original... but maybe i'm just being ants at a picnic

Anyone? i got no idea what exactly the pipes above are but it's clear i'm going to need a new dump/front pipe

X2 When i pulled mine apart to fix it one of the plastic gears had cracked and was jammed in the locking mechanism, repco can get replacements for pretty cheap but they need a lil bit of adapting to use the stock stalk bit (that clears the belt from your shoulders)

Yeh they won't care much for build date as from 89-93 they're all pretty much the same (couple of little things on the newer ones) I'm pretty sure that list has a note down the bottom saying it's not all inclusive and the RTA site definitely has a note about no high powered 6's no turbo's and no 8's (assuming u talking about the new laws)

Try change your fuel filter, a fuel pump sorta fixed the problem in my old 32 but wasn't until i changed the filter as well that the car was totally smooth

14 mil on a r32 gtr, should be the same on a gts-t

OK so i got a r32 GTR other day (1993) and the gearbox is leaking (i think) it was on the list for the roadworthy and i new about it b4 buying the car, but after looking it doesn't seem to be a gearbox seal, just the Pipe in the pics, which seems to be leaking water (with anti corrosive fluid) instead take a look and give me your suggestions please thanks! Also why do my caps for my standard r32 gtr rims say "we produced with spartan air" it's really weird

least u have no licence i got 90 days until i can drive the GTR i got sitting in my garage T_T temptation keeps calling

WTB some stuff for a R32 GTR: Am having trouble finding this stuff at wreckers, so after looking through the for sale section thought i'd give it a shot here: LH Steering rack boot FRONT Rotors (standard ones, 2nd hand or cheap new, must have plenty of thickness left in them) REAR Rotors (standard ones, 2nd hand or cheap new, must have plenty of thickness left in them) A dust boot for the clutch fork (preferably new must be in GC) LH driveshaft boot Upper shocker bushes (new) Rear Sway bar Links and bushes If anyone is selling any of the above or knows a good place for getting the little things (standard replacements, not aftermarket) CHEAP then pm me Thanks
