22 seconds slower on a car thats lighter, and has quicker 1/4 mile times is alot... Whats carrera invasion? 22 seconds = differences in the attessa? Anyways, if u ask me u should choose which car u like the looks of better, and go with that. If it's a 32 u can get a rebuilt one for around 30k, a 33 gtr from 25-30k will be standard but has less K's and less wear.. so yeh go for what you reckon looks better.. but the 33 will probably save u some hassles

T_T why is this thread still going T_T VTEC can spoooool VTEC = Nothing. It doesn't give u 50kw's...It swaps your timing/cam around so that u get more peak.. so it's like adding a cam.... It's designed for fuel economy too... If u had a lumpy cam with high lift/duration you would get the same power throughout the rev range but fuel economy would suffer... So VTEC = a compromise, not a supercharger

OK cheers mate, it will get it dr drift remapped again and i will probably get the R34 turbo high flowed from slide or that other dude.. now to search for a z32 afm and possibly some new injectors, hmm

I had full zorst 3" split dump pipes, hi flow cat, turbotech controller (tried another as well) and a few other mods, was running 12 psi, and it would run 12 all the way to redline in 1st but 2nd and up it dropped off by redline to around 7 or 8 psi. The standard turbo's just don't flow enough

Ah ok so a remap will handle 220ish rwkw without a problem? And the hi flow i was looking at would either be a slide high flowed 33 turbo or a high flow of the r34 turbo it has on it now if that helps

OK so a few people have told me a r34 turbo is not going to flow much less than a 2530 and the only difference will be that more boost can be run through the 2530.. Can anyone verify this or is the 2530 going to flow considerably more (to justify the price)? Also, what gains are there with a high flow over a 2530? just the price difference? Lastly will a remap work on a 2530/highflow or will a SAFC/PFC/wolf3d have to be used (although if a remap's not going to work i can't see a SAFC working) thanks

wa really? it's not 1052V151s anymore it's just 1052V2?? I have like a couple of accounts full of mopars and vipers and about 50 million spread in different accounts, might be tempted to start playing again (at work) if V2 is decent.. civic si = 8.2 second 1/4 mile with a supercharger

Gt4 ST185 celica's (awd) have about 140kw.. after you make sure it's not one of these (awd turbo) then i don't think there would be any problems.. 110kw sounds like a FWD model and i mean.. come on..

Yeh, like he said, you will need a retune, it might not be too bad (the stalling) as with my bov blocked off it would stall maybe once a day. Best bet if u don't want a bov but you want sound is to go a mesh pod. Go a DRIFT pod or similar, just make sure the element is pretty thin and it will be loud enough

I was always curious though, how much the awd does shave off the 1/4.. Like if you were to run a stock 32 gtr (lets say it's brand new) up the quarter in rwd mode, what are u looking at 1/4 wise?

Out of curiiosity, is this a king lake run then or a black spur run? (black spur = need to go through healesville, king lake = need to go through hurstbridge) Can anyone verify?
