    Nuff said!
  4. I also just found THIS although the listing says avcr the info says its for greddy, assuming its the same parts as avcr you have the boost controll kit delivered for a little over $100.(with some wiring to be done of course)
  5. I have done some more research, apparently the pfc boost kit solenoid just plugs into the the stock boost solenoid plug, is this true? If so i will just use those wires, so all up it will cost me $65, could do it for $35 but that dosnt come with the harness to plug the sensor into the pfc.
  6. a mate is a maybe in his corolla.
  7. I shit a water pump so i bought one of these http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/137554-nissan-rb-100000km-service-kits-great-value/ If your doing a belt it wouldnt hurt to go that little bit further and do the pump, you know its done then, if it dies after you do the belt then you have to do all the work again.
  8. so this would be fine for basic exhaust pipe, body work and sheet metal plus some alloy but the welds will look ugly? By the sound of it this would be a good beginner machine.
  9. thoughts on this unit http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140443936630 ? never welded before and dont want to spend a lot of money on something i may only use a few times a year or if i dont like welding may just throw it under the bench and never use it again.
  10. i think he is reffering to shaft play? If you like it get the gtx3582r, less lag for more power and direct bolt on.
  11. Yeah I know, but all I wanted was the map sensor to display boost, with the wiring you cab get that for $50+pp from the states, then I started wondering if I could hook up my current boost controller solenoid to it and have it work, the solenoid may not work but if know what wire to hook up to it then its worth a try
  12. did a search but cant find any thing, im thinking about getting a map sensor to hook up to display boost and peak hold on the hand controller, just wondering if it is possible to hook up a solenoid for boost control, if so any idea's what wires go to the solenoid?
  13. DUDE didnt you see gone in sixty seconds? the red one was these guys porsche! After a thrashing like they would have giving it best thing would be for it to be found totaled or never found at all, i could never enjoy that car knowing what they have done and wondering if something is about to break.
  14. thats easy fixed, dont trim either end of the afm down so much and you can use 2 hose clamps to secure it better.
  15. I cant imagine these are easy to steel, was the house robbed as well?
  16. what are the pro's and con's of duramine?
  17. the one that cans from the manifold is a hard line with a banjo on the end of it, if your putting the turbo in the standard location try to use it as it will be easier, if not you would be better off just using a banjo barb off the turbo then cut the hard line at the back of the engine bay some where and join the 2 with rubber hose. I know with my 3540 the banjo bolts were different sizes to the standard turbo, i used banjo barbs for the water line from the back of the turbo to the block and then used the factory banjo and bolt ( only had 2 after market banjo barbs and bolts and couldnt find another to fit) off the other side but had to cut it with about 3" of pipe on it and flare the end, then i just used rubber hose to go to the plenum. On the line from the plenum there is a section of rubber hose that does a 90 degree bend around the back of the head and then joins to the hard line, mine split and its not uncommon to happen, if i was you i would attempt to bypass it whilst your doing all of this and just run new rubber line from the plenum, i also slid another rubber line over the top where it goes around the back of the head to stop any rubber or vibration wearing through the rubber line.
  18. I guess your assuming that everyone knows where this car park is?
  19. This is because of the amount of people who have pod's + intercooler + atmo venting bov, the cops know that they have a greater than 50/50 chance of them being able to defect them, have a look through the forced induction section, lots of ppl post that there car is stalling, tell them its the atmo bov and there willing to live with it because there tards who's turbo education came from the fast and the furious, same with ppl having a pod and only 200rwkw, they don't want to use an air box coz the induction noise is cool!

  21. oops, wrong road, its actually called uralla rd which becomes bay rd in mt martha
  22. you do realise that the meet point in mornington is literally just around the corner from the cop shop? I would recommend staying on the highway to balcombe road (which is a nice little road) and then take that to the esplanade and not far from there is a good size car park for a meet point.

Spotted a very nice R34 BLKSKY on darebin rd today about 2:30. Also R33JET or JETR33 cant remember, silver S2 33 on balarto rd.
  24. and as for turbo, have a look at the hypergear thread in this section, get a bolt on high flow from him and run low boost with the standard injectors, afm, fuel pump and ecu, if in the future you want more power then you just have to gather the other bolt ons needed, first off would be a fmic and exhaust then ecu, that will get you to around 180-230rwkw(around 200 safely) , afm, injectors and fuel pump next and with the right turbo choice you will hit 250.
