  3. My Space FTW
  4. I will be there. I will help the stock GTR brigade 179kw of power BTW::: Every man unto himself, everyone has different requirements for their cars. Obvisouly some people enjoy tunning and enhancing there cars. Plus must be pretty friendly with the government. A. To afford such wonderful modifications B. Not to be roadworthed But I digress, it is those well modified machines that bring in such events like this, and deserve the attention they get for all the hard earned cash and time spent lovingly preparing there rides. Much respect goes out to these people who have the time and the patience to take such along journey for producing totally sick HP and rides. Peace out.
  5. I will be there, I will wave the flag for the stock bregade. 179kw huge power ROFL
  6. That is a sweet car. I wish I saw it in the flesh
  7. definately out of this one gents. Going country
  8. 1st car 1978 Toyota Corona with an 18r Celica Engine and triple webbers 2nd car 1991 VN Commodor Red Extractors and sports exhaust, suspension 3rd car Mazda 323 SP20 4th car (current) My GTR.....
  9. Nope try South Africa or India or China or even Korea for a Merc, All the parts are made globally and the actual putting together is done in Mexico and Germany for alot of Mercs and VW's. But depending on demand they will subcontract to other car factories overseas to meet short supply issues.\ Any car you can buy could be a lemon
  10. The R33 GTR rear wing is adjustable and can be tailored for the driving conditions. I find the spoiler setting do make a huge difference to the handling of the car into corners.
  11. What about drink drivers? and repeat offenders who drive without a license, why don't you crush those killing machine bastards 1st. 2 set of laws try to protect the community, street racing *car crushed* Drink Driver who has a no regard for the law *fine and slap on the wrist*, the government have become a bunch of political vote scoring morons who clearly haven't seen seen that this can be consituted as discrimination, because of the vehicle driven. A person doing 200km/h not racing anyone will get what? * A fine and a slap on the wrist* Why doesn't there car get crushed? A government Pollie, caught drink driving * good behaviour bond* a Pollie speeding excessively *nothing but a fine* Why don't you follow your own rules you set down you bastards and cope the penalities we all face. The rich get off scott free because they can afford to dispute it and us plebs pay because we can't. 4K to challenge a fine in court, compared to 300 bucks. Make the laws fair and make it fair that everyone can have there say, not have an eletist group who are above the law, or penalities that aren't consistant because there is no political gain.
  12. GTR's only need to come out of the gaurage when it is required to prove a point. (On the track) I never park my GTR in plan view on the street, I look for obsecure parking areas in the dark so it doesn't stand out like dogs balls. BTW I have had my car badged in my driveway behind a gate, so I think you came out of it pretty well.
  13. I have a speed limiter overide unit to connect to a stock GTR ECU, but I ended up replacing it with a Power FC in the end.
  14. A Sigma, man my Misses had one and at 140/km the car feels like every panel is about to fall off! I wish you good luck on your project, I hope you get alot of enjoyment and pleasure out of your pride and joy. But what you are proposing would make very entertaining drive and more than likely a car that actually reqires alot of driver skill to control on the track. I hope you find a engine choice that suits your needs. I look forward to seeing the finished project, because I think been taken for a spin in it would really show off what you are trying to do.
  15. Set of lights, Commodore pulls off first, I deciede to give him ahead start, then pull up beside him, wave and move on. At the next set of lights that was quitest commodore I had heard in a long time.
  16. I will be there with my car just finished at RE Customes for some tunning and a service. BTW Ray is a fantatsic guy and knows his stuff, really put me at ease. His advise is worth it's weight in gold. Thankyou Ray and RE for being top blokes.
  17. Pull the car apart yourself, It is like 1 big lego set. I had similiar problem with my line, pull it a part, put foam in spots where cables rub metal, tighten the cables in the doors, tape the plastic lining on the door down with masking tape. Expand the electric window winder switch with tape to get a snug fit in the door. Pull the dash a part and tighten wiring, then put it back together.
  18. It's like every profession, you get people who are good and others that are bad. It just happens a coppers job is visible to Joe public and the bad apples make the majority look bad. But Government policy is the key to this problem. We voted the current government in so obviously we wanted it.
  19. FAITH. Because you need Faith in the car to take take those corners
  20. I have Hancock Ulta High Performance tyres. Not suited for track, but on the street and in the wet I have unbelieveable grip.
  21. I am there this time...... Finally work is off my back
