  1. It was either really rich everywhere or really lean everywhere when using nistune k value had to be changed quite dramatically a resize injector should only need minor tweek not a 50 difference deatschwerks support didn't give me much confidence after telling me to ignor there report
  2. I have a set of 740cc Deatschwerks side feed injectors and have had no end of trouble getting them working right. I have emailed there support people to get this responce regarding lag times: If the OE latency is displayed as 530us for the OE RB25 ECU, then think using 1300us for our injectors would be way off. The RB25 uses a OE side feed injector with almost the same coil properties as our 740â•˙s. I would suggest trying something in the 700 rang and see if that helps then adjust from there. Our injector would not have anywhere close to more than twice the latency time as the OE injector. My injector report from them states lag time @14v is 1.3MS(1300us) and here they are telling me it should be closer to 700us WTF is going on with that? Is there anywhere in the northern suburbs i can take these injectors to to get a correct report on both flow and lag times? I have now changed to a VE tuning based ecu and these settings are extremely important to get correct.
  3. Nistune your ecu, and get a tune at the same time, will add approx $700 to your costs but it will allow you to cheaply change to higher flowing injectors
  4. NB Sim should display Wideband data on the gauge and output NB data to the ecu. If this device does not support it get a bung welded in for the WB sensor
  5. Is there a narrow band simulated output on that controller? If yes then Remove your narrow band sensor and replace it with the wideband. Cut the connector off your narrow band sensor and solder it on to the NB sim output and then plug it back in to the standard loom. Problem solved
  6. Did you just buy the filter? Id be ringing the shop straight away advising them of this. Cover your self incase there has been damage
  7. It comes with everything needed including lube!!! You can never have too much lube
  8. Just ordered the Adaptronic Plug in for my R33. Will let you all know how I go.
  9. I got my DW 740cc direct from there web site quick as and cheap any one know how accurate there flow sheets are? Having issues getting them right in nistune
  10. Being an afm based ecu air temp correction is a built in feature. Mass of air is read dosnt matter how hot or cold it is the appropriate fuel will be injected Map sensor based cars need air temp correction due to the fact that mass of air at the same pressure can change with air temp
  11. Tune it for 91 and you will be fine otherwise 95 is a minimum
  12. Very off topic, but isn't this a paradox? As seen in Zebra's Signiture: D_I_F, on 04 May 2011 - 06:10 PM, said: OMG I'm in Zebra's Sig!!! f**k I must be cool! How can this not destroy time and space? Or do I just enjoy my Monkey Island/Doctor Who too much?
  13. These mufflers mixed with a ferrari type actuator setup would be awesome. Basically as you hit boost an actuator opens up the muffler. Could also work with an electronic setup based on revs and throttle position
  14. 1x HP NC6400 laptop 1x Nistune USB consult cable 1x Apexi AVC-R Main display unit with Apexi stand. Map sensor and Solonoid were not taken. If any one see's anything like these for sale let me and my baseball bat know
  15. Because your a nice guy who wants to see skid videos When my car is finally sorted I promise to upload skid videos for all those that helped(On a private road/pad of course, when i turned 30 my wife said i had to grow up)
  16. Aligned it up with the mark on the cas so at most 1 or 2 degrees out which shouldn't really matter will get a timing light on it before driving
  17. At idle when warm voltage drops below 13v. Can swing around alot hitting 14.2 sometimes. Car starts running very rough when it goes below 13.5
  18. Brand new alternator 85amps and its nice and shiny
  19. So I took my plugs out and you guys were right black as anything so i changed them and the car started. Resized injectors(Since plugging up air leak) setup z32 again and Back to the same old fu*ken low voltage and missing at idle/light cruise problems On boost its fine(Didn't actually drive it this time not wanting to rick needing another tow)
  20. Yeah i had to run to nissan to buy the last 2 spacers in wa
  21. Girl like hands a needed my manly hands couldnt get in to take the plugs off
  22. Nistune is not reporting any problems with any sensors. No error codes. Car has always had a voltage, lean out, missfire problem. So i have been slowly replacing everything trying to sort all the issues out.A new Alternotor installed recently seams to have stabalised the voltage issue. Plugging up the plenum connection to the PCV valve seams. Other things done to the car are: Hypergear ATR43G3 turbo. 3" turbo back exhaust FMIC RB20 ECU running nistune with a MSD window switch to take care of VCT 740cc Injectors 300LPH fuel pump with direct voltage from the battery AVCR Boost controller Techedge wideband that also simulates narrowband for the ecu Z32 AFM Seams as i just sorted out the final problems on my car this issue rears its disformed face. I am really starting to think the imobaliser is the problem. When the car was running last night the indicators flicked together exactly how they do the unlocking the car. And today i noticed the fuel pump wouldnt prime.
  23. Also I only cranked it over alot as previously on warm start she would need alot of cranking, but i guess during that cranking you could hear that it was actually getting fuel and spark
  24. I doubt in this case its my battery. It cranking over and over and over. The battery went flat after the car originally cut out and had o get towed home. It died during decel and sounded like it was getting too much fuel as it was popping alot.
