  1. Mum jokes are well over rated... nanna jokes are where its at dans_nanna_bukkake.avi Next on the playlist is eroticphoneconvowithusherlyshotsister.mp3 (I'm joking don't kill me... the phone call wasn't that erotic )

  3. Had my power steering belt slip off the pulley and get munched when I hit rev limiter. To its credit, I'm pretty sure it was an original belt and the rubber was pretty much stuffed. $30 and 15 minutes putting it in and its all good again

    Fuel

Sam you only have one there about $70 and its on your dump pipe. You can see it from under the bonnet

    Fuel

Niz, you can work it properly with the trip meter. Completely fill it up and reset the trip meter. Next time you fill up take down how many liters you put in and the KM's you did and work it out from there. Its something like Liters * 100 / kilometers
  6. I bought an ebay short shifter and I like it. Alot better than stock Theres a little plastic thing on the bottom of the shifter than you need to transfer over from your stock one otherwise its very loose and sloppy.
  7. Even the stage 3 kit has a 500hp turbo... thats like 300rwkw. A little excessive don't you think? lol To get a RB25 reliably to the same power level your talking a full forged rebuild, even then its going to be one laggy bitch (fun but laggy ). Your probably looking at 10k atleast to get a skyline to that power level reliably. Look at something smaller for your current engine, if you had a 200rwkw rb25 and a 200rwkw falcon engine, I'm sure the falcon engine would not only be nicer to drive but would probably win in a straight line due to its low down torque. I'm not a ford person but it's probably worth asking the question on a ford forum. You could probably make 200rwkw on a stock bottom end with under 6 psi quite easily. I've seen a commodore do the same thing using a >200,000km engine.
  8. I think there part of the inner seal to the winder to stop water getting in there. Maybe nissan could help you out? Or try a jap wreckers for something in better condition
  9. I have a series 1 RB25 turbo that has noisy bearings and will die soon no dout. What I'm after is someone thats high flowing there turbo to trade with me. Basically I will send my turbo to slide on your behalf, he high flows it and sends it to you, you replace your current turbo and send that to me. I'm willing to make any cash adjustments and pay postage. If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated -Matt
  10. 13k for a turbo kit?!?! Have you got a link to that? Must be gold plated or something I dout very much it would cost 13k. A turbo would cost about 2k, allow 1.5k for custom manifolds and dump/font pipe. New injectors and fuel pump + remap. If you needed too you could lower the compression a little with a thicker head gasket. Even if you bought a second hand ford engine like your current one it still wouldn't add up to 13k. You also have to think about getting it engineered. You can't put an old engine into a new car due to emissions laws. Getting a post 1997 RB25DET is going to be a bitch of a task not too mention expensive. There is also the man hours involved in welding up new mounts for pretty much everything. If you can weld yourself then its not so much of an issue, but paying someone else your gonna get stung. Auto electrics are the same, you'll need the entire RB25 loom and the fairmont loom in the car at the same time... its gonna get messy Still, if you wanna do it, I look forward to seeing the results
  11. I think thats why you have a disappointed look on your face is that the group photo one? if so, bring it
  12. I got your back dan I am never posting high res pics of me on the net
  13. Yeh your right... get an R32 instead Seriously, fairmonts weight what? 1800kg? R33's are more like 1400-1500kg R32 are 1300-1400kg Plus he wants to use an auto which will only make it worse
  14. You know what would be faster than a Fairmont with a Skyline engine.... a Skyline with a Skyline engine Come to the dark side Just remember your engine is making its peak torque at something like 2500rpm, you'll be driving on boost just to get the Fairmont moving due to its weight. I'd be turbo'ing another 4L i6 ford engine, you'll have enough torque to get around and have some top end power to go with it, not to mention it would cost less. Whats the fascination with the RB25? There are alot of other engines more suited to what you want to achieve Your going to be paying out the ass for all the mods to get it to fit. No dout it would be cool to have but you'd probably get spanked by V8's still
  15. uhh I don't have one I was talking about keg CO2 bottles
  16. Mikeys self pimpage never ends What you can do is break the glass in the bulb and solder a resistor and LED in there. White ones only cost a few dollars and are a lot brighter than any incandescent light. The resistor should be about 330 ohms for most LEDs, if you got the specs of the LED I can calculate it for you.
  17. Nice pics, I was going to go but I was hungover and ended up sleeping through it
  18. 1psi aint right... There is no way it should be able to even get to 1psi. I'd say your missing a few fins off your exhaust turbine or you have one massive vacuum leak.
  19. Now you just have to sign up for SAUWA If you have it by next weekend definitely join up and come cruising
  20. gah... if I didn't have to repeat two subjects next semester I'd apply for sure is kylie still looking for work?

    Abs Light

brake fluid isn't too low is it? I think that may be the handbrake light that comes on for that though
  22. I don't have any more info in the skid pan days, I just remember hearing it a while ago.
  23. PM sent
  24. If you mean the defensive driving coarse (the one where you take you car), its not going to help in his super fun happy sliders moments. They teach wet weather breaking, swerving and a few steering techniques to get you out of trouble. You have to do the higher levels in the AHG skidpan car for them to show you how to correct over/under steer. Skid pan days (maybe not with instructors) are a regular thing there IIRC. Even Mr kleets had an off at the skid pan in his GTR It was no big deal cause it was all grass either side. No damage and no curbs (besides the damage to Mr kleets ego )
