Multanova's are Ka band and are supposably the hardest to detect since there so low power. IIRC there on the higher limit or just out of Ka band because they drift so much (and hence aren't that accurate...), the wideband detectors do really well against them. I bought a shit cobra detector off ebay and it doesn't go off until your right next to the thing... its probably just your detector being shit. The cheap ones are really a waste of money for use with multanova's. Dan, lasers are only used as handhelds. The tripod thingo's (multanova's) are all radar still. I'm pretty sure those camera's they stick in wheely bins are radar aswell, lidar makes it harder to get all the lanes at once. Doesn't Marmion ave randomly drop to 70 near the Karinyup golf coarse? 80 is about right for Marmion... any faster with that many side streets would be a bitch to pull out onto (for normal cars ). Its strange that when it dips to 70 there are no side streets at all The freeway should atleast be 110, 130 would be better. Its a dead straight road with multiple lanes and an emergency lane. The only reason someone would crash on it would be shithouse merging (WA's specialty) and unroadworthy cars blowing up. The amount of people that can't hit 100 by the time you need to merge from an on ramp is ridiculous. Likewise the amount of people that don't check there blindspots when they almost run you over. If you force people to go faster they might actually pay attention to there driving instead of turning on cruise control in there auto barge and tuning out.

The ecu contains form of memory that retains its state after the power is removed. No flash, no eeprom. There is no possible way it can store fuel trim maps between drives without constant power, which I'm quite sure that it doesn't because power is removed when the car is switched off. I'd be looking elsewhere for your problem if you have one

The lcd needs to have the exact same controller or an equivalent as the original LCD otherwise the instruction set will be wrong and you won't get anything at all. Because the original LCD is 128x64, you can't go any higher in resolution without going to a different controller. You might be able to go up in size but keep the same resolution but not by much. Only way I can see you getting a larger display would be to figure out the powerFC serial protocol (datalogit and the handcontroller would use the exact same protocol) then program a microcontroller to get the data and put it on a larger display. Is the powerFC datalogit cable USB or serial? If its serial it would have to be an asynchronous serial port. USB it could be either. If someone has a dead powerFC I'd have a crack at it. It just so happens I have a graphic lcd in the mail If anyone has any electronics questions about it... just fire off a PM and I'll see what I can do

Are you still using the stock ECU? (well with a safc ofc you are ) My injector duty cycle dropped almost 10% when I got a remap. SK, 270bhp doesn't seem like alot... people get 150rwkw off the stock turbo and injectors, a few have even got close to 190rwkw off standard items. I even got 150rwkw st 87% duty cycle. Raising the boost will increase fuel pressure and increase the max power you can obtain, correct?

You can't rebuild any of the stock turbos. All the parts are obsolete now. You can get it high flowed by slide for about $800
