Oh,,,won't that be great,,,Nascar style cars running around on shit narrow street tracks. Shit I can't wait. Take most of the aero out of them and make these robot drivers,,,DRIVE.... Cheers and thanks Cockren and Skaifie. Neil.

Well actually Murphs time was done in the top 10 shoot out,,,from memory he beat John Bowe much to the dis-like of the Ford fans (Mel and I were there) and Qual times do stand. It's very disappointing that the GT cars which are real endurance cars only get to play on Saturday with 2 x 30 minute races. Cheers Neil.

I'll be keeping a eye on the GT cars,,,. Stuffed if I know why they can't have a longer race,,,I know,,,piss the utes off and let the GT's have a 2 hour enduro. I noticed Tony Alford ran around on Thursday in the 35 in P1 but nothing after that. Wonder why?. Cheers Neil.

I'm not sure draining your catch cans oil back into the engine straight on top of your cams is a good idea,,,rarely have I ever seen clean oil come out of them. They usually have oil,,,water and crud. Cheers Neil.

Yea your right Chris and I'm starting to think all of them under $200 bucks are all the same. That e-bay search is "Autolac" who are a paint supplier and have stock. I'm just going to buy the cheapest one and fix it when it breaks. Cheers Neil.

I just did a quick ebay search and found this. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Guard-Roller-Fender...=item3caed23bcb I'll ring them tomorrow and get the low-down Cheers Neil.

Great to hear your keeping it Stu. It's been suggested I buy it way to many times,,,but I just can't bring myself to owning a yank powered Skyline. I love it but it's just not me. Which brings me to a question,,,would you be interested in making me one of those sumps for my R33???. Cheers Neil.

Bought these shock absorber adjusting C-Spanners from ebay-uk,,,cost me about $20.00 bucks landed. I thought they were going to be cheap thin crap but turns out they are way better than I expected. Thought I would post some pics of the radiator bleed funnel kit (Lisle 24610) in action on my GTS-T after installing a new radiator. It has been said to me that using the factory bleed screw is all you need,,but after bleeding my system using the bleed screw and then using the funnel kit I got tons more bubbles out and I could rev the engine which helped big time getting all the air out,,,which you cannot really do with just using the bleed screw. Sorry but all 4 now have good homes. Cheers Neil.

Ha Ha I thought it,,,you typed it !!!. Neil.

Didn't know nissan made welding rods let alone engine specific ones,,,. Welders are such a great invention, I started with stick, progressed to oxy and now mig. I did a tafe course years ago and while I was only there to learn welding in practice,,,no way was I interested in welding as a profession I topped the class in practical,,,the teach gave me a leason in plastic welding after hours. Cool shit. I bought this mig off ,,,yes old mate Mark of Medalist fame. Cheers Neil.

Still not a tool,,,but interesting,,,but they are in a way. Changing fuel filters is a good thing. After having leaking Jerry cans I bought these Jaz fuel containers. Yes I know they say "Water" but for some reason the yanks got it wrong. Filled up 2 of these on the way down to Wakie and this is what was left in the bottom of one after the days fun. Every bit that is not white IS grud. Neil.

Silverstone, Ring, Monza And Spa In 8 Days

Troy,,,great thread mate,,,love the vids. Yep heaps of Radicals there as would be expected at an open track day. I watch all the goings on here http://www.pistonheads.com/ phunky,,,are you going to track day a Radical or race it ???. Frickers car started at $11800.00 and it ended up in the 80.000.00 mark,,,which is still rip-off money. Cheers Neil. -
I'm confused Snowy,,,why would you be happy with the SP being legal. Three cars made (well maybe 4 after TT) locally by Mazda Australia's motorsport arm to me sounds like favourtism. Shit a brick,,,they had more techs working on one car than they have produced!!!. Cheers Neil.

Circlip pliers are always something you need. Again after years of buying cheap crap I finally bought these. These have interchangable tips of which you can buy replacements,,,the tips I got are straight,,,45 degree,,,90 degree and two or three I've forgotten. KD Tools out of the US of A make them. The 2 screws at the front retain the tips and you screw the Red handle either way to squeeze the clip smaller or expand the clip bigger. Best Circlip Pliers ever. Cheers Neil.

Bloody hell,,,ebay type feedback,,,this bloke you all call craved must be good. Think I'll use him as well on my vintage motorcycle resto. Cheers Neil.

Interesting comment about shannons,,,my racecar is insured with them,,,actually we have everything insured with them. Couldn't be happier,,,they have always been great. From memory I think my racecar is insured up until I leave pre-grid or out of a garage and onto pit lane. I'd hate to think what a premium would cost for actually being on the track,,,. Cheers Neil.

Marsss,,,you beat me to it,,, If you are really anal,,,get someone to sew flanelet sheets together and use them under the cover. Just a word of warning though on water-proof car covers,,,because they don't breath you need to be really careful about the car sweating underneath them. You need to air the car periodically,,,beleive it or not cars and paint sweat and if you leave it to long bubbles will form in the paint work. Seen to happen over the years. Cheers Neil.

I had to bring this thread back to life,,,tools are cool. Over the years I've bought heaps of rubbish/cheap hole saws,,,in the end I spend the money and bought these. While they are great the only down side is when using the bigger sizes a 13mm drill chuck is to small. Lucky for me I inherited my father in laws big kick-arse drill. So just keep that in mind if you are thinking of buying a set like this. You also need to use a cutting compound or you'll blunt the saws very quickly. Cheers Neil.

Craig you homo,,,thats a rubbish vid,,,wheres all the in car stuff???. Neil.

As the title suggests,,,I'm chasing a genuine R33 GTS-T Series 2 front lip spoiler. Here's a pic. Obviously it needs to be in good condition,,,scratches/marks are okay just something reasonable. I would even buy a whole front bar if need be. Pm me or ring me on 0419160561 Cheers Neil.

That vid is almost humorous ,,, but I can assure everybody there was no laughing at race end. Bloody crap clutch setup stuffed what should have been a good weekend. I contemplated doing a change over night for about 10 seconds but Wakie in winter would kill us both. Neil.

I can smell an SAU NSW group road trip coming on. Cheers for the info Noddy Neil.
