  1. looks very factory to me, i pulled mine apart and put a nismo kit through it about 6 months ago. Even though you can only see one side of the ramp they are both equal meaning it is a 2 way.
  2. Just depends how many times you have done it, also depends on the tools you have, i now have a full selection of different spanners, and different swivel ratchet spanners to get manifolds off. Also turbos in 33 and 34 gtr is much easier, i know between 32 and 34 gtr there is about 40-50mm more room from the turbo to the chassis rail as the car is wider.
  3. Just to clarify, also fitted tomei to Garrett -5s, no problems....
  4. On top near where the bell housing meets the block is where the breathers are, i had the same issue after i accidentally filled my transfer case full of smurfs blood after filling it through my shifter, not knowing it didnt go into the gearbox.
  5. stock will be fine. unless its under 1L, but i doubt it.
  6. If a r33 is a 2 peice tail shaft the "loop" is actually holding the center bearing in place.
  7. I bought a asi one for my gtr, too thick and cant run the shroud and the thread for temo sensor in bottom was wrong. Put it in the china shit pile and just bought a koyo, bolted right in like factory.
  8. a single 044 can make 400 rwkw on petrol, the extra volume needed with E85 i would say you will just need 2 to be safe. When you tune it put a flow gauge on it to make sure if you go with one.
  9. No i think the wiring pin outs will be completely different, as you have twin oxygen sensors etc with a gtr.
  10. what is the reason you need it, is one of your headlights not turning on with low beam?
  11. model number and pic of SX pump, is it new?
  12. eagerly awaiting response
  13. if you seen the price of those wiggins clamps you would cry, i know i did but they look sweet.
  14. bearings (4) i got from bearing supplier i think was around 250, then 250 to rebuild it from a diff guy i know. The nismo clutch packs was 230 i think, you need to ring award diff and gearbox in sydney for that.
  15. diffs can be rebuilt easily enough, my gtr rear diff has new bearings and seals, along with nismo clutch packs. My g box was also noisy but i just slapped in another gtr box, its a 32 box and took the chance, at 700 bucks they are cheap and give it a go. My rear diff is fine still has a slight whine at around 100 km/h, but the problem is its a worn gear set if it was new be better but i dont want to buy new gears prob cost more then half the car haha. Also depends what backlash you put in it, running it a bit looser lets more oil in for long life, but too much is detrimental etc.
  16. i was going to go methanol on my sr20, problem being the maintenance required. Any decent power WILL require 2 sets of indy blues per cylinder. Most people in the know say big electric pumps are OK, but mechanical driven is much better. But then they are a flamin mongrel to start with mech pump and you need to gravity feed the fuel in (thats why they run small tanks in the engine bay) then you need a special mech pump reg (not big deal). but then you need to drain you oil after each event you run at (mostly) run normal petrol through fuel system and run the engine or you will corrode the bores etc. "usually" dont run filters either as they can trap meth and turn to jelly.
  17. the issue is here the "pits" are full on, like getting mirrors to check numbers on turbos and everything, if there wasn't that part and we just got roadworthy like anywhere i would do it in an instant.
  18. the reasons im not building a 3L for my r32 gtr is -defects in Adelaide is a flamin mongrel -need std looking block, could prob get away with re stamping the number -need sump adapter -not much room height wise in a gtr for the taller block and sump adapter
  19. if the motor doesn't crank over = nothing to do with power fc = battery related once its cranking over nice and fast if its not starting then look to the power fc issue.
  20. my cars are always tuned real rich like that, around flat 11, might rob a few kw but then i have never had an engine failure either.
  21. I see these at some speed shops, i think they are used for trans coolers more then engine oil coolers. They would work but as said above, not enough surface area on these things.
  22. there doesnt look like heaps of room to make the groove for the circlip, ill check it out tho.
  23. afm wont be holding u back at that power.
