  1. yeh i know thats why i told this guy yo check the local market first. although i need to find place sto check... obviously buying lcoally will be alot easier as importing is a bitch!!
  2. that car lives in perth! is an x-speed car. in the metal it is DAMN HOT! thats a genuine blitz flared kit...
  3. how many plates are left under the old scheme? roughly...
  4. but on an external wastegate which has greater control over exhaust gases it works well, as in my case
  5. is it worth importing one? i know with skylines these days its better to buy locally because the market is flooded at the moment... but is this the same with supras? bully, can u offer any advice?
  6. its a fairly old one (magazine) so havent read it for a while, but at this stage it may be a good starting point!
  7. well just to bump this thread back on track so far weve got melville motor imports and Extreme Machines... anywhere else worth looking at for supras? unfortunately all the people i know or have heard of specialise in nissans. isnt there a toyota specialist in perth anywhere??
  8. "not very good with non-stock turbo's though" id have to disagree there paul. i run a bleeder on my turbo and its flawless. holds 15psi no worries. no spiking and builds smoothly, couldnt ask for anything else. from my experience with a GFB bleed valve theres much better things to spend money on then an EBC (which are quite pricey) i understand u dont see the top secret supra getting around with a turbosmart bleed valve but for most of our cars bleed valves are decent
  9. ive got a high performance import mag with a 4page article on the impul 4 door R33 listing all specs etc if you want it
  10. No im not buying one a mate of mine is lookin for one, preferably black and aero top for around the $30,000 mark. are there any reliable suppliers in perth?
  11. no i went through this saga with licensing my car and trying to find std shocks and springs. R33s dont fit... and so id assume 32s wont fit into 33s
  12. youre all quick to bag the S2000, but have any of you driven one? theyre pretty quick. they may not have the brute power of a R33 but as a car theyre very nice to drive, quick through the corners and have a fair bit of power for such a light car. dont underestimate them
  13. anything is possible but for how long run it at 16psi and it wont last long... but then its an excuse to rebuild or buy a bigger better one. so everyone wins!
  14. many accessories are made in the same factories, this doesnt mean they use the same parts of follow the same guidelines though. hence the finish products are not the same
  15. yeh careful with VDO's and splitfires they have a bit of a reputation. autometers are alright and all the jap stuff is good if youre prepared to pay $300ish
  16. sorry and good for 350hp + so ideal for your specs
  17. troy alot of us have the bosch 390 which fits into the std bracket and costs $215
  18. i prefer the short pieces of string but yeh ill go in and ask ta
  19. what do you call cheap, i have one...

  21. another quickie related to suspension how much does it cost to get all your bushes re-done? cos my suspsension handles well and i love it but it creaks like hell and ive just enver got around to fixing it
  22. well as long as it gets me faster than macka ill be happy hehe
  23. they dont make your car go faster...
  24. any word on his car yet mack? we may have all 3 off the road now!! did anyone go or hear about the italian job rally last weekend? was it just a buynch of minis or were there tricks etc involved?
  25. jimi i did the same thing. it comes off eventually youve just got to pull it around a bit, its a bitch! i personally think skylines without a rear wiper look better
