ive owned an RB20 with a big turbo which spools at 4500rpm and its not traffic friendly at all. in fact after 6 months of driving it i got so sick of it im now in the process of chanigng it. so speaking from experience and not just theory, it isnt a good idea. there is a point in calculating hp at the wheels because thats the amount of power that is getting to the ground. 260 flywheel hp will only see 200 at the wheels which is fairly pathetic for a modified car.

i think you should aim for the 220rwkw mark if you want it as a daily driver, and not have to sacrfice big lag and driveability

i dont go anywhere near woolies but the other cars in my family use it and theyve had no problems at all. although theyre not performance vehicles im sure its fine, just not suited for jap imports

the GTR front guards are wider than the GTSt and so will not fit without major modification...

as long as the non-turbo aspect doesnt piss you off then its a good looking car. personally i couldnt go from a turbo to non-turbo

really bad fuel economy isnt a good sign, maybe check the O2 sensor or get on the dyno to check AF ratios. you should be getting better than that if youre only runnin 11psi and expecially with an AFC i thought ud be around the 450km mark

back to fuel economy ive got a bigger pump, bigger turbo but std injectors (at 90%) and get 450 for 50L thats on an RB20DET

anyone going to either of these? ill be at both, was just wondering if theres any fellow skylines owners i should keep an eye out for!

unless you buy a completely stock car, alot of tyhe imports have these small mods done to them, exhaust, rims, pod filter etc. i bought mine when it had been modified to all hell and although a few parts have broken or fallen off the value cannot be argued. my cars got an apexi N1 with 3" off the turbo and 4" cat back, very nice exhaust.
