jules is all your hostility built up because the S31 image was ruined by clowns in their non turbos and other rice machines? surely you can understand what were trying to achieve here. the skyline is a classy car. it is not a basis for a riceeater's latest 'creation'. all we ask is that they leave the skylines alone. stick with what they know best, hyundais and lancers.

"its their car they can do what they want" yeh good call its fine if they 'modify' or do anything for that matter, but its when theres an impact on others then theres the problem if someone rices up a skyline this brings down the skyline name. this not only generates false stereotypes which causes 1)deteriorating the skyline name and 2)cops see flashing lights on a skyline this will make them notice skylines in general and therefore cause more trouble to us bottom line is; modify your car all you want BUT as soon as it has an effect on others (like now) expect people to speak up

do not tighten the BOV too much this will defeat the purpose of having a BOV in the first place, as there will be increased backpressure on the turbo which is not good

yeh my clutch is v.hard (daiken 5 button) and now my gearbox is whinging!

conditions for a permit are a)distance from uni and b)whether u live along a bus route to UWA... that and they sell ALOT more permits than parking bays, so unless u arrive earlier than 9am u wont get a spot

tip: dont get someone to come out, they charge HEAPS take it to an auto electrician, theres a good one in leederville. will be much cheaper mobile electricians/mechanics or whatever cost heaps!

ive never been pulled over in this car (apart from when i had no numberplates and was dirving on temp permits cos of licensing hassles), and ive had it for 6 months

tell the dealers about it, theyll be able to chuck on a std pipe and make sure everythings ok. considering u just bought it, and from a dealer, make sure they do EVRYTHING. becuase as soon as u start messing around with it and something breaks theyll just say, 'sorry warranty void'

the problem doesnt seem to be as bad anymore actually. im not sure why... even if it didnt rectify itself i was happy to run a 0.75mm plug gap as it pulls very nicely through top end jimi if ur running the VG30 at that sorta boost (which u should ) then run the same plugs as me. i think theyre BKPR6ES or something

i got a misfire running 1 bar, thats why i replced the plugs
