  1. i did it with T04E, bosch 910, FMIC, SAFC and 14psi
  2. what do you need a turbo timer in an NA for? let the air cool down?
  3. run rich? not really. it will run rich for a split second until you accelerate again, so difference is neglible. the stalling seems to be mroe with the louder 'ricier' BOV's. so despite the fact they sound rediculous this could also put u off buying a blow off trumpet! SAFC and most other fuel controllers will fix this and gain power, which has been well documented the std BOV causes problems as well, it leaks boost. it was designed to run on a std car, std cars run 7-8psi. when u start getting up around 1bar it will leak, causing more problems. replace it!
  4. why dont u 2 set in your options to log out from the account once you leave the forums.
  5. my turbo is off to the right (conviniently out of screen). its about twice the size of mackas
  6. 4 on the std guage equates to 11.16psi (using a converter thing ive got on the computer )
  7. whats your std guage readin? it does sound a little high for only exhaust and filter. these will increase boost slightly as it allows the engine to breath easier do a search, the basic mods on R33s are fairly well documented. maybe this is what boost is achieved by doin the exhaust and filter
  8. hahaahahahhaha the price of being a riceboy
  9. 0 oil pressure = dead engine if your engine is running fine it is fair to assume that its a faulty guage. if your worried about it install an aftermarket one, chances are its just a guage fault. afterall its only the std guage
  10. make sure you let the fuel pump prime (takes 2-5secs and u can hear it buzzing) before you start the car. then it will start quicker, i had the same problem
  11. its getting out of control, i think its time that someone be put on watch for these offenders. last night in a cab on the way to town i saw a black R33 (well i think it was black i couldnt quite see cos of all the stickers) complete with fast and the furious "flying dildo" plastered down the side. it was terrible. also had 18" chrome wheels, was auto and i think non-turbo (had blue side badges) was the worst example of a skyline ive ever seen in my entire life
  12. the guage has a dead area around 0. and it sits in there... i rechecked the plumbing today and i cant see anything wrong wit it. just forget about it i guess!
  13. id say 250rwhp @ 1bar. but it also depends on what dyno! you might crack 400 on myaree
  14. however autometer are known as being of higher quality than splitfire. its nothing to really worry about. its reading approx 0.5-1in mercury vacuum maybe i should just shutup
  15. so u reckon just a 5000rpm clutch dump in the water?
  16. haha never seen it done whether that be bcos itd look rediculous or it doesnt work too well i dont know
  17. one question i want to ask is does a burnout help when your tryin to launch on street tyres (say theyve been let down to 20-25psi) ??
  18. micko good call rob enough is enough. if you think you can run a 13 then go do it. dont drag is through every mundane detial in a hope to get into some petty argument about running a 13second pass with 180rwhp
  19. ive heard autometers are pretty accurate... it seems to read alright... i duno. its pissing me off though!! it reads positive boost as the turbo spools up, and reads 14psi when the dyno set it to 14psi from their guage... its just the way its sitting when the cars off thats a bit worrying
  20. yeh it used to sit on 0. but wobble around a little... maybe there is some vacuum?! ill give it 1psi inaccuracy just to be sure i guess. its just anoying that 2 guages now dont read 100%, im kindah on edge with the turbo being too big for an internally std motor so want to keep an eye on any spikes etc
  21. haha yeh at idle it should read well into vacuum... im talking about when the car is switched off as there should be no vacuum or pressure and therefore the guage should sit on 0
  22. sst sounds good to me someone setup a poll for which dyno we go to! PSI SST Speedworks Formaz Myaree
  23. what does everyones guage sit at when the car is turned off? mine doesnt seem to return to 0. it sits on slight vacuum... i replaced the guage cos i thought it might be a fault with that, but even now the brand new one is doing it... is it a problem with my t-piece/plumbing of the vacuum hose? or do alot of guages do this? what effect does this have on their accuracy? should you assume theyre reading low...? thanks adam
  24. can you teach me how to drive shannon? maybe with years of practice i can pull off a 'sick' burnout at the motorplex
  25. the pop pop pop sound you hear is most likely misifiring in which case it will be your plugs. i doubt its overboosting jimi: exactly the same
