  1. im coming over tomorrow :uh-huh:
  2. you dont a coil off a spring because they were designed to operate as a whole spring. cutting a coil off changes its properties completely beit spring rate, load capacity and even ability to sit on top of the shockie. i wouldnt recommend cutting springs under any situation, especially not for a skyline, theyre a classy car dammit!
  3. spose thats better than $600. thats why im gunah stick with a mechanical guage... just need one which reads psi
  4. $600 shiiiit! i was just asking as i managed to fix mine today. was readin out by 0.05 bar approx but nor accurate! i replaced the hose completely and that fixed it! maybe try and look at the hose as a cheap option but i dare say its the processing module
  5. give it a while for the springs to settle... what shocks have you got? if youve still got the std shocks theyre not gunah enjoy a spring setting of 1cm off the guard!!
  6. did anyone see the seven news article this evening (mon 4th nov) they are now planning a major crackdown on sunday afternoon at scarborough and up and down the coast... thoughts? comments?
  7. my setup is slightly different, im runing a bigger FMIC, to4e turbo, and the bleed valve setup on an external wastegate. therefore i worry mroe about leaning out on boost spikes... with reference to the 2 bleed valve idea i think id rather save for an EVC than have 2... beside im not convinced that would work, the reason a bleed valve spikes is due to the way in which iit bleeds air away from the actuator line, and under load is unable to accurately control this. how would 2 bleeders solve this?
  8. i see a jap car having a) big intercooler with side mounted number plate B) 17s or 18s with low, rock hard suspension c) big bore exhaust on angle d) stickers down side underneath wing mirror (although im not a fan of this)
  9. is it a mechanical guage? ie just works off a vacuum hose?
  10. well i went to enzed in os park and bought the hose and a clamp the guage is still reading wrong though when the cars off its reading 0.1bar vacuum.... i was hoping a re-hose would do the job but it looks like i may be up for a new guage!
  11. the car in the picture belonged to a guy here in WA. bastard
  12. i duno. mine doesnt have a flap.... everyone puts the phones in there in my car
  13. i hate those things!!! i had 4 of them in my car when it came over from jap, and i managed to break every A/C vent getting them out. why dont jap car manufacturers just DESIGN CUP HOLDERS!
  14. nice one miles! we up for a rematch on the 8th then!! :uh-huh: :burnout:
  15. nah thats cool i prefer black i got stuck using bright red hose for my catch can, not good!
  16. i normally go to Oxford Spares in leederville but failing that ill road trip to wangara! cheers cam
  17. its as easily tuned as an SAFC
  18. i think i said this before. im very interested, but dont have the $$ right now. ill email you in a couple of weeks, if its not sold then ill take it!
  19. why is it hard to find vacuum hose with that diameter? you just run the hose all the way from the plenum thru firewall and to guage right....
  20. yeh dont drive it too much eh. sounds kindah serious. i cant think of anything else in the cooling system which may be ***t... the radiator core? better get it checked out! good luck with it
  21. its all the same then? just a vacuum hose with x diameter?
  22. well AFC = fuel curve ITC = timing curve power fc covers alot more than this, and has alot greater programmability. but the ITC is a great thing to use in conjunction with the SAFC! (but yes its a cheap alternative to a power fc)
  23. hey guys im looking for 2m of boost hose to install a boost guage, does anyone know where i can get this from??? thanks! adam
  24. it shouldnt be that hot.... my cars black and even after a hard run during the day the bonnet is touchable.... check coolant levels or maybe flush radiator/cooling system
