  2. do people think these are a good idea? or should you take off the stickers so that potential thieves dont know what alarm system you have? alternatively is it good to leave them on so that the thief knows he has to deal with an alarm in order t steal your car and therefore be deterred...

  13. well it depends on how much power you want to make and how much lag you want to deal with! the VG30 should make 280-300rwhp. is that enough for u?

  15. i say we all go to myaree, that way well all feel good about our cars haha but serisouly id pay $30ish for a dyno day, i remember geoff risbey roganised one through formaz once and it was $35 and you got 2 runs...
  16. make sure u dont pay any more than $50-$60 it isnt more than 1 hrs labour. VERY simple jobs....
  17. its not so much they assume import drivers are stupid. they see how all other parts for import cars are more expensive than the locally made cars. eg performance and spare parts. and so increase their bodykit prices accordingly, either way its bloody pathetic! having said that looking at prices for do-luck, veilside, kakimoto and other kits in japan just makes you laugh.
  18. alternatively to the power fc is the SAFC, while being a 'toy' can still tune fuel curves and will do a sufficient job for its price tag. rob: better than the 2540 is the 2530. the 2540 has a larger exhaust wheel but both turbos have the same compressor wheel. the end result is more lag but no more air flow/compression
  19. are u doin a before/after dyno or drag run? so you can see exactly what diff it makes?
  20. what guage was it that was reading wrong and caused megs engine to blow? ive heard autometer, splitfire and speco now meggala can you clear this one up for us please?
  21. if fuelled and tuned (ignition) correctly the std internals are good for 300+rwhp
  22. haha nah cars in perth are awesome! plus insurance is generally cheaper here as well...
  23. according to my japanese instructions they suit a shitload of cars... its dependent on what ECU youve got obviously but i bet theyre wrong. go somwhere else!
