Yeah I read that, my main concern was the mechanic told me that those figures were acceptable? Dry test was done. And was wondering if anyone else out there had a 32 spec rb25. Apart from wear and tear, what else would cause a lower compression? I thought the engine would get about 150-160 or so. The engine was done by performance garage testarossa in japan, and was wondering if they would have lowered the compression ratio in the engine to support a big turbo? Apologise for the noobyness of the question.

how much power you making with it rossco and what are your supporting mods etc?

Did a bit of a search just wanted to confirm what a good reading is?. Just had mine done, on a dry test they are coming up as 125psi each, pretty much the same, engine is an r32 spec rb25de-t (head doesn't have VCT) I thought this was a bit low but the mechanic said it was fine? Had this checked after my turbo seems to have decided to go.

wouldn't have a clue, just know that my 4wd does work even though I have no abs actuator etc (occasionally it doesn't but normally it's due to another error code) don't know why it's working best to take it to someone who knows more about the system.

lack of car and family committments. Might take you up on it if circumstances change.

my 4wd normally works but does come up with 8 an 9 occassionally.

could be the reverse lock out spring, I lost reverse last year, and it turned out the 2.50 reverse lockout spring had snapped in two,( a few hours labour and it was fixed, if it's this don't let the shop rip you off) it stops you from going into reverse from 5th etc. A search should dig up a few old threads on it.

Well can't really fix 8 and 9 without putting the abs back in. I normally turn the car off and restart it if it's just 8 and 9, I'd try and ask a specialist about your other error code. I have an intermittent problem as well myself but its a different code, in my case it was a g sensor related issue.

well if the abs was taken out that would explain 8 and 9, number 2 might be the issue. mines had the abs module taken out, and it occasionally gets code 8 and 9 as well.
