Random thing to try...
T-Piece a boost gauge in JUST before the pressure line enters the wastegate.
See what boost it's seeing down there.
Waste gate may not be connected properly pressure source wise.
Now for my question...
I have an RB30DET in my car.
Had some issues getting it to crank.
Had to pull timing belt off etc. Check to make sure cams would turn etc...
Stupidly, I made ZERO markings, and now need to know, HOW do I get the timing belt back on in the right position now that I have everything sorted out.
I know I need to pull the harmonic balancer back off and have a good look down there... BUT, how can I get the timing belt back on correctly, since everything has been spun independant of other things?
The motor and exhaust are still here...
Make an offer people!
At the moment the turbo and motor are seperated, but both still here.
Make offers on either!
That's cool man, wasn't criticising... LOL
Just with most of my driving it's stop start, and whilst I don't flog the shit outta my cars off the mark, I don't grandpa around either...
My VN V6 already uses enough fuel... (Although, I've been told the 5.7L when driven how I do, will do about the same mileage as the VN 6... )
But I'm just going to cringe once my skyline comes back on the road...
Good luck with the sale.
By law, if a car must be towed from an accident, (IE, the car is not driven away to some degree etc) then the driver at fault, must be charged.
The same as if the police attend a motor accident scene, someone by law, is meant to be charged.
So for your Monaro travelling 100KM, your swift actually does 198KM...
So your swift is doing 7.05L/100km...
I would have considered a swap on it, but I can't live with 14L/100km daily...
Nice car though... I have seen it before... Friends with Owen...
Sorry to all, I've been away from the PC a bit, and away from my phone for a bit, but I'm back now, and I do have EVERYTHING except the injectors.
My messenger now has room in it again too, so you can PM me again.
The GTR is already SEVS capable.
We just don't have a damn workshop yet!
From what I've heard a workshop in WA currently has 2. And they're using them to get SEVS approval workshop wise, to show that they CAN make them legal.
THEN we'll have them in grey.
Adaptronic e420c ECU.
It runs either MAP, TPS or MAP crossed with TPS.
The mapxTPS is a special setup, first used on the 4AGE with the quad throttles.
There's issues with multi throttles and getting a good pressure source.
So Andy (Owner of Adaptronic) has a beautiful way to tune with MAPxTPS tuning.
Works beautiful for great power, insane throttle response, and economy!
