photo correction: colour/white balance question. you know how most applications allow white balance/colour correction through a temperature/kelvin slider which seems to alter the colour along one plane of the colour circle, what is the function called that alters the colour in a different plane? I've tried using the individual component values but it's a bit like setting suspension rebound/compression settings - I seem to do more harm than good, simple functions seem to work for me best, quicker as well. <sorry trying to find a way to move post to more suitable topic>

Just a thought but does anyone have a spare crash helmet and coming to DECA. My dad is also driving my car and it would be good if we could be both in the car for some of the runs - only have the one helmet. I'm the one in the green 200sx s14 with my da JP

Car should be back back on the road and I've not been here before so very tempted. Question for those that have been before, roughly how many runs can you expect from the day. As of Sunday there were just over 20 entries, as this will head northwards, can't help but wonder how many runs I'd get with only 1 car on at a time. JP

Hi need some clarification, the last two events I’ve attended, scrutineering mentioned that my extinguisher needs to be bolted to the car - currently metal bracket is secured with self tapping screws. I’ve looked in the CAMS schedules to get guidance on the actual required fixing and it didn’t mention anything this specific, just the number of Gs it’s meant to be able to handle. Obviously don’t what to drive in to a tree to see if the extinguisher stays in place. Can anyone point me to the exact regulation so I can sort it out before the next event. Sorry if you’ve already read in this in the vic events section, but I was informed it was probably the wrong forum and wasn’t sure how to move it. Regards JP

Don't know if you've worked out the full cost yet. PI would be good as there is a lack of laps with 100 cars or so at a track day. If it is looking too expensive/hard. For a stag do in the UK, did x-road dirt buggy which was a great laugh with mates so how about Extreme Drive in V8 Race Buggies http://www.redballoon.com.au/experience/OFR251. Not been to this one but worth a thought if PI doesn't work out.

CAMS renewals For anyone interested, just used the CAMS online renewal site which has a privacy bug. "tick the box to avoid 3rd party information distribution" when it in fact utilises Yes/No boxes. Only Yes is accepted. I've clarified with a manager at CAMS (Shane) and he informed me that clicking Yes is like ticking the box, information will not be passed on and the site will be corrected in due time.
