  1. I love my 2-way. My diff guy is Rob at Australian Differential & Transmission Services on Collingwood St Osborne Park, I think his number is 0419 422 246.
  2. What the hell? where is "here"??? My 25t box cost me $1500 2nd hand!!
  3. Yeah well my 25 box only has one breather so you're probably assuming correctly Guess I'll get myself a new boot too.
  4. His doesn't even have a catback.. And when my stock fuel pump was dying, it was actually leaning the engine out and making it go harder. It's been so long since I had an RB20 with a stock turbo so it's hard to remember back that far but, I'm sure it came on a lot earlier than 3500 (that's when the 25 turbo was pulling hard).
  5. Sounds about right for a stock RB20 turbo. Source yourself an RB25 turbo (preferably a series 1) and wind it up to 12psi.. you will lose some low down but gain a fair bit in the top end and it will pull all the way to redline.
  6. Indeed, I wonder what range the RDD's can detect at.. didn't realise they emitted anything.
  7. There is no way you can detect a "detector" as it is a passive device. A "jammer" on the other hand is an active device and the reason they are illegal is because you have to be licensed to TRANSMIT on the frequencies used. I have seen the hidden install ones and they're a nice piece of kit, until detectors are banned here I won't bother.
  8. Is there an igniter at the back of the coilpack cover (I can't quite see back there), if YES, then series 1 coils, if NO then series 2 coils.
  9. I've noticed this with my 25 box, seemed to be after sitting on 100kmh down the highway for a while.. never figured it out. First time I saw it I thought there was wiring on fire but it didn't smell like burning insulation or even oil, my only guess is it was steam coming from condensation in the box (it is open to atmosphere after all).
  10. Only because your gay ass rocked up.
  11. Yes the old multi's are still being used (went past one the other day). AFAIK the poliscans are still only being trialled.
  12. lol my mum does skidz! in her 911! lol
  13. It's been rumoured that they want to ban them for ages, but it hasn't happened yet. Only jammers are illegal. I have never been victimised for my detector.
  14. Current 235/40/18's I run 45psi cold. Old 235/45/17's I ran 42psi cold. Previous 225/50/16's I ran 38psi front 36psi rear (these were on the skyline).
  15. I think it worked out to about half the cost, and they actually had the gauges I wanted, IIRC I got a 2-5/8 electric 100psi oil pressure gage with peak/warn, 2-5/8 30psi electric boost gauge with peak/warn, 2-1/16 METRIC water temp and 2-1/16 METRIC oil temp for about $600 delivered, the quote I got from Rocket was for nearly $1000 AND they didn't even have the gauges I wanted, had to be ordered in.
  16. I had an old guy run out onto the road and scream "I'll throw a brick through your windscreen if you speed through here again!" .. because my car is too loud? he's obviously too old then!
  17. Like my gauges I got my ATI balancer from Summit Racing BUT, I ordered 3 at the same time and got stung import duties/GST which made it cost the same as buying one from over east
  18. Is Kosteckis still the only place that does IM240?
  19. Sorry I didn't organise anything for Monday guys, spent all weekend making my PC work again >.<
  20. I order my Autometer gauges from Summit Racing in the US, cheaper and far bigger range than anyone here in Aus.
  21. Hand-helds are lasers.. In-car are radars.. (similar to multinova but a different band) The cops don't have to show you the reading on the hand-held but if it's spectacular enough they will.. e.g. when I got done as a P-plater for 115 in a 60, he made me get out and look at the reading.. 115kmh 315m away

  23. Autometer ftw.
  24. Sorry guys, HDD died on Friday but I'm back!! lol Had my pin snap, replaced it with a brand new cable bought off the shelf from Nissan Take dash surround off, take cluster out, get under side of car, unscrew cable from sender, go to engine bay, unbolt cable mount on firewall, extra cable out through exposed hole, throw old cable in bin, replace with new cable, drop a skid.
  25. I'll come down and heckle from the pits and I spose I'll bring the vidcam.
